Abstracts: Poetry played a very important role in Chinese literature throughout centuries. The two most popular patterns of Chinese poetry are shi and ci.Ru Meng Ling is a famous ci-poem written by Li Qingzhao,a well-known poetess of Song Dynasty. It is said that Ru Meng Ling is one of the most popular and lassic poem in the world. The translation of Chinese poetry is said to be very difficult. The author of this paper attempts to find the answer to this question by making a comparative study on two typical English Versions of this ci.

摘要：几个世纪以来，诗词在中国扮演着一个非常重要的角色，中国古诗的两种主要形式就是诗和词。宋朝著名词人李清照的《如梦令》便是天下称之的不朽名篇之一。诗词翻译历来被认为是难以攻克的堡垒。本文将取李清照的《如梦令》两个具有代表性的译本，从词牌名、文化意象、意境等角度进行比较分析。

　　Li Qingzhao, a well-known poetess in song dynasty. She was a representation of the elegant restrained style. Her poems are unique, unlike other poets’ works. Her poetry was originally published in seven volumes of shi(traditional poetry) and prose, plus six volumes of ci(lyrics composed to be set to existing popular music).About 50 ci and 17 shi survive. Ru Meng ling was one of the most famous ci by Li Qingzhao. We can find many kinds of English versions of this ci. Although different scholars have various viewpoints for this, from which we may know their requirements of the quality of translation, they always use some standards to translate or criticize other people’s or their own works. To this paper I make a comparative study on two different English versions of Rumengling from word paper, cultured image and mood.
