Abstract: The rapid development of Internet has created a new world, namely, cyber world, which is now deeply influencing people's life style and changing their concept as well. English as the main language on the Internet also subsequently experiences profound changes, and the network communication English presents new features. Internet Communication English is the language used on the Internet and in on-line communication. Internet Communication English is a means of communication in online chat, e-mail, BBS, electronic forum, E-message and so on. Due to being constraint by the Internet communication media, it represents some characteristics of advertising English, news English, telex and fax English. Online chat, a written dialogue, has the form of written and oral English nature. Network language is the language used in web and in on-line communication. Study on Network language is a new field and also an urgent demand. This paper analyzes the linguistic features of network communication English from two aspects of vocabulary and grammar.

摘要：因特网的迅猛发展与普及，在全球范围内营造了一个快捷、便利、丰富多彩的全新世界。同时也创造了新兴的网络文化，深刻地影响着人们的社会生活，更新人们的观念。英语作为因特网上的主要语言也随之发生着深刻的变化，特别是网络交际英语日益呈现出新的特征。网络交际英语，即网上聊天、email(电子邮件)、BBS(电子公告栏)、electronic forum(电子论坛)和E-message(电子短讯)等崭新的交际手段。随着网络的迅速普及，英语出现了新的一个分支，即网络交际英语。本文将从词汇和语法两方面主要分析一下网络交际英语的几个特征。
