ABSTRACT:This blockbusting movie, Titanic, made in 1997, was directed by James Chameleon. It has become a symbol of classical movies of the late 20th century. It is believed that the love story between Jack and Rose in this movie is realistic. The paper focuses on analyzing the background information of the story, the different kinds of pressures from Jack, Rose, her mother, Carl and the society at that time. The author tries to prove that Jack and Rose would not stay with each other forever if Titanic hadn’t crashed the iceberg. Keywords: Titanic; Jack; Rose; love; forever
