Abstract: Since the late 1960s, America was frequently struck by economic crisis and depression, resulting from which the problem of social unemployment got more and more serious. America was facing a nightmare—a series of social problems such as drug smuggling and gambling were prevailing while traditional virtues were gradually lost. There happened more and more violent crimes. Among these problems, juvenile delinquency had become a serious social problem and had attracted much attention of the U.S. government and various communities. This article is to explore the conditioning factors of juvenile delinquency in the U.S. from 1960 to 1990. Hopefully it will shed some light on solving the similar problems in China.

摘要：从60年代末始,美国危机与萧条频繁交错，社会失业与日俱增。毒品走私泛滥，赌博盛行，传统道德丧失，暴力犯罪严重，一系列社会问题如噩梦般地笼罩着美国社会。在这些问题中，青少年犯罪日益突出并成为美国政府及社会各界关注的重大问题之一。本文拟对美国青少年犯罪问题进行探讨，以期为解决我国的相关问题提供借鉴与启示。
