Abstract: In Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austin describes vividly four different marriages of eight young people: Elizabeth and Darcy, Bingley and Jane, Collins and Charlotte, Wickham and Lydia. By analyzing both the happy and unhappy elements in these four marriages, as well as in the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet, we can see that a happy marriage should at least involve qualities of pure love, mutual respect, and sufficient money. This paper will be able to help today’s young people to set up a correct attitude towards their own love and marriage.

摘要：奥斯丁在《傲慢与偏见》中生动地描述了八个年轻人的四对婚姻：伊丽莎白和达西，宾利和瑾，柯林斯和夏洛蒂，韦翰和丽迪亚。通过分析这四组婚姻以及本奈特夫妇的婚姻中的幸福与不幸福因素，得出幸福婚姻的因素至少包括纯洁的爱情、相互的尊重和充足的经济基础。本文有望帮当代的年轻人在自己的爱情和婚姻上树立正确的观点。
