They often attach little importance to the Japanese characters as a result of their resemblance to Chinese characters, but feel upset with the pronunciation and grammar system due to unfamiliarity and blind adoption of so-called "popular methods". Besides, they are often too proud of their own culture to spend time learning Japanese culture.
