摘要
随着全球化的全面推进，不同文化之间的交往大大增加，尤其是日益扩展的跨文化教育、跨文化大众传播和跨文化贸易与旅游使跨文化的习得日益频繁。中美之间的交往，如NBA篮球赛、KFC系列快餐、好莱坞大片等无疑增加了两国人民之间的熟识程度，但是仅仅了解这些并不足以促进两国人民之间的交际顺利进行。我们需要进一步了解中美文化交流史、深受政治作用的中美联系史、美国因素对中国现代化进程的作用等。这篇论文则主要从《论中国》这本书出发，阐述了中美跨文化交际之间的异同和现实意义。
本文第一部分简要介绍《论中国》及其作者美国伟大的外交家亨利•基辛格，第二部分介绍了跨文化交际的基本知识，并从四个方面阐述了它的重要性。
本文第三部分是本文重点，首先简述中美政治交往当代史，然后从历史角度阐述中国的单一性，英语论文，中美之间的战争思想，经济事务的交织，大规模杀伤性武器的扩散等方面略论中美之间的异同。最后，以19世纪英德两国的对抗为引子，阐述中美跨文化交际的经济政治层面的现实意义。
本文因其覆盖的领域比较大和复杂，文中难免有不足甚至是错误之处；但是，正是由于中美两国在现实交流中有摩擦和不信任的时刻，所以才要更加重视中美两国跨文化交际之间的异同，努力做到求同存异，为两国人民和世界和平发展贡献一份力量。

Abstract
Different cultures interact with each other more frequently with the overall aspects of globalization, especially in the fields such as intercultural education, intercultural mass communication, intercultural trade and tour. Sino-U.S. intercultural communication gets strengthened from NBA, KFC and Hollywood blockbuster, etc. However, it is far from the level that both sides should know each other. We need to explore the history of China-America relation, the communication dimensions, and the American impacts to the modernization of China. This thesis mainly states the discrepancies and practical significances of Sino-US intercultural communication from perspective of On China.
Part one is the brief introduction to the book On China and one of the greatest diplomats Henry Kissinger. Part two focuses on the basic knowledge of intercultural communication and the significance from four aspects.
Part three is the main to begin with the brief modern communication history, and then explore Sino-U.S discrepancies from the singularity of China, the war doctrine, economic issues as well as proliferation of mass weapons. To the end, using the 19th Anglo-German relationship expounds the practical significance between China and America.
The exploring issue in this thesis is complicated and sophisticated, therefore, some points are insufficient even inaccurate. But, just like the real China-America interacts with each other lacking of trust and friendliness, we should pay more attention to the discrepancies between China and America to make contribution to the both-side people and global peace.
