语言是文化的产物，同时也是文化的载体。作为文化限定词的颜色词，它蕴含着丰富的社会意义。不同民族的语言赋予颜色词不同的文化内涵，它反映着一个民族的风色习惯和思维方式。自古以来。人们对颜色词最直接的感觉就是对颜色词的心理反应。当文化观念发生改变时，英语论文网站，颜色带给人们的感受也会发生变化。

Abstract
Language is the product of culture. At the same time, it is also the carrier of culture at the same time. Color words define culture and it is rich with social meaning. Different ethnic groups endow colors with different cultural content. It is a reflection of the folklores and thinking patterns of a certain people. Since ancient times, the most direct feelings of people have been regarded as their psychological states. As time goes by and people’s cultural concepts change, so do their feelings about different colors.
Colors are closely connected to people’s lives. When we are studying how the colors of uniforms come into being and how they change and further develop along the way, we can also see the development of the material culture of a nation and a people. By comparing and studying the color words of uniforms and by learning the underneath content of these color words; we can realize our goal of cross-cultural communications in a better way.
This paper has gathered the information about color development of different countries’ uniforms and has done a semantic analysis of the color words of uniforms. By carrying out a comparative analysis of the cultural content of the uniform color words, we can have better understanding of the Eastern and Western cultures and thus realize the goal of effective communication.
