Abstract
With the development of art, musicals and operas have become more and more popular. An overwhelming number of people have shown interest in art, especially in musicals and operas. It is universally acknowledged that musicals and operas are main carriers of culture. Thus, the change in musical and opera is the reflection of cultural changes. Therefore, it is feasible to discuss the differences in musicals and operas between China and America in order to compare the cultural differences between the two countries.
The thesis aims at analyzing the differences in Mamma Mia and The Butterfly Lovers to explore the cultural differences between China and America. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first chapter is about the aesthetic differences between China and America. Chapter two focuses on the value differences between China and America. In this part, several points are displayed to illustrate the topic in great details. Chapter three is the appreciation of American culture. Eventually, a clear conclusion is drawn in the last chapter. Through the discussion of the aesthetic cultural differences between Mamma Mia and The Butterfly Lovers, this thesis managed to give elaboration about the cultural differences between China and America.

摘 要
随着艺术的不断发展，音乐剧和戏剧越来越受到大众的欢迎。艺术表演吸引着众人的眼球，英语论文，尤其是音乐剧和戏剧，人们对其表现出了极大的关注和兴趣。众所周知，音乐剧和戏剧是文化的载体，它们的进步与发展能够反映文化的延续与变迁。因此，本文以艺术表演为入口，以特定的视角，通过对比略论美国音乐剧《妈妈咪呀》和中国戏曲《梁山伯与祝英台》在内容风格和表现手法等方面的不同，从而探索两国的文化异同。
本文旨在通过对《妈妈咪呀》和《梁山伯与祝英台》的差异的比较略论，英语毕业论文，对西方文化有所借鉴，从而更好地传播中国文化。本文一共分为四个部分，第一部分是中美审美文化的区别，重点比较民族文化异同。第二部分是中美价值观的不同，该部分细分为若干部分，同时通过举例并深入略论以论述主题。第三章是对美国文化与美国思想的借鉴学习。最后是结语。通过对音乐剧《妈妈咪呀》和戏曲《梁山伯与祝英台》艺术文化异同的略论比较，读者可以很容易地感受到中美文化的不同内涵。
