摘要
《肖申克的救赎》这部电影改编自斯蒂芬.金的《不同的季节》, 尽管在奥斯卡的角逐中并未得到任何奖项,却成为电影界中当之无愧的“无冕之王”。影片中虽然没有靓丽的女主角,但是那主角安迪与狱友瑞德之间的男性之间的深厚友情仍旧感动了无数观众,尤其是安迪对自由的渴望、对生活坚定不移的希望激励了许多处于困境中的人们。本文以从容和救赎为主题,略论了这部电影中安迪和瑞德这两个人物心态的成长历程。第一部分以安迪为中心,英语论文题目,介绍了他的性格中的突出点:正是由于对自由的渴望及对生活的希望,他从容的走向了自由与重生,获得心灵的救赎;第二部分以瑞德为焦点,英语论文网站,剖析了他面对两次假释失败而最终获得自由的心路成长历程。总之,这部电影中,男主角安迪的从容及其艰难的救赎之路带给观众了巨大的心灵震撼。

Abstract
The film The Shawshank Redemption is based on Stephen King’s novel Different Season. Although it does not win any prize in the Oscar competition, the film is called “the Uncrowned King” in the film industry. Despite the fact that there is not charming heroine in it, the sincere friendship between the two males Andy and Red still impresses many audiences. In particular, Andy’s unswerving hope for life and the desire for freedom inspire many people in trouble. Focusing on composure and redemption as the central topics, this paper explores the two characters Andy and Red’s spiritual growth. The first part mainly analyzes the figure Andy, who calmly achieves freedom and obtains redemption for his soul guided by his yearning for freedom and hope for a new life. The second part focuses on Red, analyzing his mental growth through the failure of his two paroles and the success of his final release. In conclusion, the hero Andy’s composure during the difficult journey towards redemption gives the audience a deeply moving experience.

1 Introduction
In 1994, although The Shawshank Redemption directed by Darabont obtained 7 Oscar nominations, its box office was poor and sunk among many famous films. However, for decades, this film has been welcomed in tape market and became the beloved one of many film enthusiasts. In the vote of “the best 250 films in film history” on IMDB website, it ranked the second following The God Father.
1.1 Introduction to the Story
The Shawshank Redemption is a film with the style of old-fashioned Hollywood. Accurately speaking, it is a film with Capra style of Hollywood’s classism that its tune is calm and with little depression, narrates story with proper speed and the shadow’s application of whole film is also mainly dim. On aspect of plot, this film abide by the classic model of film with such style: “the protagonist gets into trouble--seek the way out of dilemma--the action gradually increase--get out of dilemma (hide)--end”.
