摘要
从表面来看,文学和语用学似乎是两个互不相关的领域.然而因为语言在文学中的广泛应用,两者之间的联系也得到越来越多的认可。由于在特定的语境下，话语的含义是受其作者或说话人的意图作用的，而应用情景语境理论略论话语的隐含意义就是一个不错的措施。如今，电影是人们生活中比较重要的一种文化，英语论文题目，电影可以被视为一种动态的文学著作。电影中的对话是语言应用的典型实例。因此，应用语用学理论略论电影中的对话是可行的。《窈窕淑女》是一部经久不衰的优秀电影著作。电影中人物的精彩对白与其性格，社会地位和说话时的具体情景是相一致的，同时推动了情节的发展，揭示了电影的主题。本文应用语用学原理，主要是情景语境理论和会话含义理论准则，英语论文题目，对电影《窈窕淑女》的对话进行语用略论。通过略论，我们能了解到电影人物的言外之意，性格以及电影的主题。并指出对话在电影人物性格塑造方面有着重要的影响。

ABSTRACT
Literature and pragmatics are seemingly two different subjects. Yet, since literature demonstrates language in use at its best, more and more scholars have come to realize the close relationship between literature and pragmatics, especially in the field of conversational analysis. My Fair Lady is an ever-lasting film enjoyed for ages. Particularly, the conversations in this film are a kind of strategic language use. The protagonists’ utterances accord with their personalities, social conditions and contextual situations. And through those splendid conversations the plots are advanced and the theme is gradually revealed. This article is a tentative attempt at an analysis of a literary work with the aid of pragmatics theory, through a detailed analysis of the conversations based on the Context of Situation Theory and conversational implicature in My Fair Lady. As the Context of Situation Theory used in this film of My Fair Lady, the true meanings behind the utterances is clearly revealed, and this paper arrives at the conclusion that, from the conversational analysis based on Context of Situation Theory, the protagonists’ personalities and the theme of the film are revealed. In addition, the paper points out that the conversations play an important role in character creation of the film.

1 Introduction
Film—a kind of dynamic culture, has a high-significance in our daily life. In the modern time, most of people prefer to watch a film as their first choice in their spare time, 37.5% of them watch two or three films each month, and 53.2% of them have partiality for films imported from the west.Many excellent films not only have modeled some distinct protagonists but also presented profound ideological content with oral conversations so that readers are fascinated and moved by these films. As the conversations are the principal means of the film creation, analyzing the conversations of the film is available and valuable for the appreciation of the film. |
