摘要
随着全球化进程的深入，世界各国之间的交流日益频繁，不可避免地产生不同文化之间的碰撞与交流。中西方各自的传统节日作为中西方特有的传统文化的一个重要组成部分，英语论文题目，非常具有其文化代表性。当代学院生热衷于追捧西方节日的现象，让人担忧中国传统文化的流失。有观点认为，在全球化大趋势的当今世界，青年一代对中国传统文化的意识逐渐薄弱，中国亟待重建传统文化价值观。然而，另有探讨表明，西方节日的流行是中国社会日益开放、多元化发展的结果，不能简单地理解为文化殖民，青年一代只是通过西方节日寻找新的娱乐方式。
本文应用文化的显性和隐性之分、对于文化的冰山理论和文化的洋葱比喻三种理解方式来讨论当代学院生热衷西方节日的现象。本文采用实证探讨的措施，通过问卷调查的方式了解中国学院生热衷西方节日的近况、原因，以及对中西方节日的态度。此外，在问卷调查的基础上，辅助实施了抽样采访，用以弥补问卷设计的不足。
实证调查结果显示，中国当代学院生只是对西方节日新奇的庆祝形式等产生兴趣，而这些都是属于表层的东西，属于显性文化的部分。当涉及价值观等隐性的、核心层面的内容时，英语论文，学院生仍然坚持中国传统的文化价值观。由此作者认为学院生热衷西方节日只是表面现象，处于核心的中国传统文化并未改变，仍处于主流地位。

ABSTRACT
As the deepening of globalization, the exchange between countries has become so frequent that cultural shock and cultural communication are inevitable. Both the Chinese traditional festivals and the western festivals are very typical respectively as an important part of their culture. The phenomenon that Chinese college students show their fever to the western festivals makes people worry about the decline of the Chinese traditional culture. There are views that the young generation lack of the Chinese traditional merits and values in the context of globalization and it is necessary to rebuild the Chinese values. However, researches show that the western festival fever is only the result of the deepening communication instead of colonial culture and the young generation just show their interest in the western festivals and regard them as entertainment and relaxation.
This thesis analyzes the phenomenon of western festival fever with three understandings about culture, which are the visibility and invisibility, the iceberg comparison and the onion comparison. A tentative empirical study is conducted through questionnaire in order to find out the status in quo, the reasons and the attitudes of the college students towards the western festivals. In addition, a thorough interview is carried out as a complement to the questionnaire.
The empirical study shows that Chinese college students are just curious about the interesting celebration activities of the western festivals, which belong to the surface and visible part of culture. That is to say, the college students insist on the Chinese traditional values in the aspect of invisible and core culture. Hence, the writer’s opinion is that the fever to western festivals is nothing but the surface phenomenon and the core values of Chinese traditional culture remain the predominance.
