摘 要
美国是一个宗教化程度很高的国家,宗教对美国社会的诸多方面都有着深刻作用,可谓是美国人生活中不可替代的重要组成部分,而婚姻又是人一生中最用重要的一部分当然不可避免地将受到其宗教文化的作用。本文将以现在美国婚姻家庭模式和现有问题为背景，以清教的意义、基督教对婚姻的相关规定为中心，通过大量的与之相关的资料来略论宗教文化与美国婚姻的之间的关系，并研讨宗教文化对美国婚姻的作用。希望通过一系列的略论，归纳出宗教对婚姻的基本要求，以及人们应如何正确看待婚姻问题，并且提出有对于如何维持一个健康的婚姻的相关建议，英语论文范文，英语论文题目，希望能够对我们中国人的婚姻观有所启示，让宗教对我们中国人的婚姻的也能产生积极作用。

Abstract
The United States is a multi-religion country with a strong religious color, and the influences of religion can almost be found everywhere in American people’s daily life. And religion can be the most important aspect of people’s life which can not be replaced. Marriage as the most significant part of people’s life would be influenced by religious culture inevitably. This thesis will analysis the relationship between religious culture and American marriage, and discuss the problem of how religious culture influence their marriage on the bases of the background of American people family pattern and their current issues, and also the thesis will explain the significance of the American Puritanism and the Christian doctrines on marriage. And after a series of analysis, it would come to a conclusion successfully that what are the basic rules of religion, how should people think about the marriage in a right way, and at the same time this thesis will give people some advice to keep a relationship and sustain a good marriage. And hoping in this way our Chinese people can get some inspiration from it. Religious culture can make a positive influence on our Chinese marriage since people try their best to have a satisfied marriage in a proper way.

1 Introduction
1.1 Background
Nowadays, marriage plays quite an important role in people's life, because marriage not only means carrying on the family line, but also means the products of love and responsibility. American, as a most powerful country, stills has serious marriage problems, even though most American people have a very strong sense of religion.
The western research about the marriage began in the last century. In 1980s, the divorce rate of the first marriage was about 50%, the risk of divorce in the remarriage raised 10%. Because of the high divorce rate, the marriage research has been broad focused. There are a lot of literatures which had been written to explain the reasons why people get divorce.
