摘 要
英语名字在众多的英语国家中被使用，英语论文范文，包括了美国，英国，加拿大，澳大利亚，新西兰等其他一些地区。一个完整的英语名字包含了名字，中间名字和家族姓氏。名字是文化的载体。不同的名字反映不同的文化。英语名字是人类文化的一部分。它反映了语言，英语论文，宗教，历史事件和文学在内的民族文化。英语国家命名方式是一种很小的文化行为，它的特点与发展很大程度上与人们所信仰的宗教，经历的历史事件有关。在本文的第一部分，主要的目的是去说明英语名字的特点及其来源。第二部分是英文名字与其文化的联系。英文名字与基督教文化紧密关系。一些人的名字来源于圣经上门徒和先知的名字。并且他们的名字都包含了对上帝的敬畏和对教规的遵守。除了基督教文化的作用，英文文学和西方国家的历史都在很大程度上作用着英文名字。此文的最后部分是英文名字所反映的文化、在这篇论文中主要解决二个问题。一是英语姓名的组成及其特点。二是英国文化，包括宗教、历史、风俗、文学、人们的习惯等，是如何作用姓名的。

Abstract
English names are used in the English-speaking world: the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and many other regions. A complete name usually consists of a given name, a second given name called a middle name, and a family name. Different personal names reflect different culture. Personal names are the carrier and container of culture. English names are a part of human culture. It reflects national culture, which includes language, religions, historical events, and literature. English naming habits are also a miniature of the national culture. Their characteristics and the development have close relation with people's religious belief, historical events, and so on. In this paper, the first part explains the characteristics of English name. The second section is about the relation between English name and their culture. English name relates to Christianity closely. Peoples’ name comes from the sages’ and disciples’ name in the Bible. Their names also reflect the believer’s worship and Christian rules. Except the Christianity, English literature and English story influenced English name greatly. The last part mainly talks about the reflection of culture in English names. There are two major issues to be solved in this paper. One is the constitution and characteristics of English names. The other is the influence of English culture on names, which includes many aspects such as religion, history, custom, literature, habits and so on.

1 Introduction
People’s names are one of the most universal language phenomena in each human society. A name is a word or term used for identification. And the word "name" comes from Old English “nama”. It is the specific symbol, which people use to distinguish themselves from other people. It is the most-widely used cultural symbol in human society, and it is also the historical product of human social development.
