Abstract
Different buildings carry the corresponding cultures differently, at the same time defines various beliefs. The building in the form of the difference is the embodiment of the cultural differences. There are also existing functions for the purpose to cultivating spirit and culture. The basic elements of the building must be the space in terms of the architecture. However, as individuals hold different understand of the space, it comes to the various definitions and techniques of the architecture. This is the most significant understanding and difference.
By comparing the difference of the building, this paper analyzes the cultural difference of the two countries. On the basis of Chinese and American forms of architectures, this paper has analyzed the background of historical geography, the main building materials and the different styles, finally gives a conclusion about the various cultures and philosophy views involved. It introduces the advantages and disadvantages as well as the similarities and differences in terms of architectures in the two countries, illustrating the information about Eastern and Western architectures from different aspects. From the analysis that focuses on the charm of the art of architectures under culture gradually influencing made above, and delivers over to the various cultural differences in the two countries.

摘 要
不同的建筑承载着不同的文化，体现着不同的信念。中美建筑形式上的差别是文化差别的体现。建筑负担着以教化为目的精神与文化功能。从建筑上来说，空间是建筑的基本要素。而对空间的理解不同，自然对建筑的手法和定义会有所不同，这是最重要的理解与异同。
本文主要通过对比中美建筑的异同来略论两国文化的异同。本文从中美建筑形式出发，略论地理人文背景，主要建筑材料，建筑形式和建筑风格，总结从中投射出的中美文化及哲学观。分别从不同方面阐述东西方建筑，英语论文，介绍了中美两国在建筑方便的优劣差异。通过略论建筑艺术在文化熏陶下所产生的魅力，进而细化到现代中美两国建筑文化异同。
