Abstract
Films are culture bridges between different countries. A good movie would not only bring entertainment to the audience but also make them think about something deeply. Fortunately, the film Forrest Gump is a classic movie. Through it we can have a glance of the history of American since the 1950s. The main character Forrest’s life would lead you to experience the American dream which is the most cherished culture by American people. The film Forrest Gump contains many different styles of American dream. Meanwhile the film also has a rational thinking about the American dream at a particular time.
In this article, the first part is a brief introduction of Forrest Gump. And then based on the characters which are sited in the movie, language style and the story, the author would have a detailed analysis on Forrest Gump, especially on the racial reconciliation, the return of traditional values and the women’s liberation. In the third, the author will combine the connotation of American dream with the film Forrest Gump and analyze what kind of American dream that has been put on this special hero. At last, the author would analyze the quality of Forrest, such as his attitude towards kindness, love and friendship. The author tries to find some suggestions or solutions from Forrest Gump and the American dream to solve the problems in Chinese society nowadays.

摘 要
电影是传播文化的桥梁，英语论文网站，一部好的电影不仅能带给人愉悦的感受而且还能发人深思。电影《阿甘正传》就是这样一部经典的电影。轻松幽默的剧情能带观众一瞥美国从上个世纪五十年代以来的社会历史，而且透过主人公阿甘的一生，我们还可以清晰的感受到美国人心中珍视的“美国梦”的具体内涵。在电影《阿甘正传》中美国梦就有着各种各样不同的表现形式，例如永不言弃和辛勤工作等品质。同时电影也体现了对特定历史时期美国梦的理性思考。
本文首先简要介绍了电影《阿甘正传》的故事梗概，英语论文，然后根据电影的人物设定，语言风格和剧情等因素深入略论这部影片深层次表达的对于种族问题，传统价值回归，女性解放等问题的看法。再结合美国梦的相关内涵，研讨这位“平民英雄”身上被赋予了怎样的“美国式梦想”。最后通过电影《阿甘正传》略论其所体现的诚实、友谊、爱情等人生选择的应有态度，并结合“美国梦”所相关内涵进行论说，以期达到对当今中国社会浮躁的拜物主义所应有的反思。
