In culture teaching, teachers usually use the old ways, the teacher just tell the students which one is important, which content is necessary to remember, and which one always appears in the exam. In this way, students always feel tired, and under this way, they will think that they learn the knowledge, they learn the culture is only for examnations, once they passed the examnations, then they win, no matter whether they have understood what they have learned or not. That is a tragedy when we hear the students chatting, they always forget what they have learned after the examnations, so it is useless to study. Students study culture is not for remember things, but for ability development. We know it is necessary to teach culture in our classes, and culture teaching will help students to absorb knowledge easily. But by the old telling ways is a obstacle for students to understand the culture, so there is a necessary to look for a new way to teach culture. Role play teaching method is a practice teaching method with interaction and innovation for characteristic. The target for ability development is actualized by applying the role play method in the learning situatuion. Only when the knowledge connects with the action closely, then study can become a part of students’ cultural lives. So teaching is not only a knowledge teaching process, but also should attract students to come into the process and to absorb the knowledge. The role play method will be the best method to attract students to take part in the study process. The role play method needs the students to understand what they are learning and after the understanding, then they can role play it. In the role play process, if the students have some questions, then the techer can help them to solve them. It not only add the interaction between students but also between the teacher and students. In the old ways, after several classes, the teacher just teaches, and students just listen to the teacher, even when they have questions, some students will not ask the teacher, and after the final exams, there are still a lot of questions. The teacher does not know students have these questions, and students would not like to ask them, even some students have not spoke to their teachers in all his or her semester, and then it becomes a bad recycle.
