摘 要：
本篇论文尝试从缺失和补偿的角度探讨《论语》的英译，对《论语》英译中的补偿探讨获得一个较为系统的认识，并找出其英译中合理的补偿措施。
《论语》，作为最有作用力儒家的经典作品之一，英语论文范文，在国内外都享有很高的声誉。其翻译也是中西文化交流的重要组成部分。距第一个英文版本的《论语》出现已有300年。迄今为止，将近40个《论语》的翻译版本已经被发行。这些版本都各具特色，为本片论文的探讨提供了丰富的素材。
本篇论文由5个章节组成。第一章节为介绍部分，包括探讨的背景，重要性，措施以及论文结构。第二部分简要介绍《论语》原著以及一些著名的翻译版本。
第三部分阐述了缺失的原因和缺失的方面。第四部分，英语论文，首先解释了补偿的必要性和方式，然后通过举例略论的方式，具体从词汇、文化、审美和句法角度说明翻译缺失的不可避免性和补偿的重要性。最后得出了对于《论语》英译的缺失的不可避免性和补偿的必要性方面的结论。

Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to approach the translation of The Analects from the perspective of loss and compensation, aiming to acquire a systematic understanding of compensation translation of The Analects. The writer also tries to find some appropriate compensation methods for the translation of The Analects.
The Analects, as one of the most influential Confucian classics, has enjoyed high esteem at home and exerted its influence abroad. The translation of The Analects is also an important part of cultural communication between China and western countries. It has been more than 300 years since the release of the first English version of The Analects. Nearly 40 translation versions of The Analects have been published since then.
The paper consists of five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, including the research background, significance, methods as well as paper structure. The second chapter introduces the original text and some famous English translations of The Analects. The third chapter shows the reason for loss and introduces what have lost in translation. The forth chapter tries to prove the necessity of compensation and find effective compensation methods in the lexical, cultural, aesthetic and syntactic aspects. The last chapter comes to the conclusion that the translation loss is unavoidable and compensation is necessary in translation of The Analects.
