Abstract:
With the further development of globalization and China’s Reform and Opening-Up, the communication between China and other countries has been increasing sharply. In order to know the current event, English news is becoming more and more important. It has been an important tool for different countries to communicate in politics, economy and culture areas. Reading English news is a main source for the public to get international information. In conclusion, studying the features and translation of English news is essential.
English news has its own unique linguistic features and its appropriate translation methods and the two have potential inner relation. The present study concentrates on features in headline, lead, lexicon, grammar and the appropriate translation methods of English news, which can provide English learners with effective reference。

随着全球化和中国的改革开放的进一步发展，国际间的交流日益增多。为了解当今时事，英语论文网站，英语新闻就变得尤为重要。英语作为一种全球化的语言，在国际舞台上发挥着越来越重要的影响。英语新闻已成为各国相互相互交流政治、经济、文化的重要工具。阅读英语新闻是获取国际信息的重要来源。 综上所述，对英语新闻的特征及其翻译的探讨也就尤为重要。

1 Introduction
It is widely known that along with the development of economic globalization, the interactions between different countries have been increasingly intensified. Where there is life, there is a piece of news. All the international communication can’t live alone without the spreading of English. The translation of English news is a special efficient way in spreading information to readers. English news has been playing an important role in improving the international communication. From the above reasons, it is essential to understand the English news requirements, features and translation of English news in order to avoid the mistakes and losses in understanding English news. However, it is not easy to translate English news well. Therefore, it is rather important to have an comprehensive study of the features and translation of English news.
This paper discusses systematically the requirements of English news and its features in headline, lead, lexicon and grammar. Then this paper studies and analyzes the appropriate methods which are literal translation, free translation, flexible translation, transliteration and explanatory translation of English news. The paper emphasizes on the inner relation between the features and translation of English news, which is essential for successful English news study.
