Abstract
Qian Zhongshu is a renowned translator and his contributions to translation are well-known and distinguished. Translation is not only an exchange of information but also a highly cognitive as well as affective and value-laden activity. Making a general view of the translation field, we can find that pursuit of faithfulness is achieved but creativity is often neglected. With regard to Qian Zhongshu’s translation, it is featured by the classical Chinese, which can be regarded as a form of creativity. This dissertation focuses on Qian Zhongshu’s classical Chinese translation to dig out the essence of his translation. There contain three celebrated translation theories, Huajing, domestication and dynamic equivalence. It mainly adopts literature research theory with practice research and comparative research to figure out Qian Zhongshu’s unique translation.

摘 要
钱钟书是我国翻译界首屈一指的翻译学家。他的翻译成就精妙绝伦。翻译不仅仅是一种信息的交换，它还是一项具有高度认知的活动，也是一种情感的表达，英语论文，价值的体现。纵观中外，翻译家虽然高度追求翻译的忠实性，但却忽略了翻译的创新性。就钱钟书的翻译而言，他的翻译以典雅的文言文为特性，而这种文言文的翻译可以被定义为一种创新的体现。本文就钱钟书先生的文言翻译为基础来深入挖掘其翻译的真谛。本文应用中外著名翻译理论，英语论文题目，例如化境、归化法以及动态对等来研讨钱钟书先生独具一格的翻译。

1. Introduction of Qian Zhongshu and his contributions
1.1 Brief introduction of Qian Zhongshu
During decades of literary career, Qian Zhongshu made great contributions of unique academic works and exquisite literature works. He has a reputation of “The Kunlun of Culture”. Although there are only few translation works translated by Qian Zhongshu, he has made a great influence on the Chinese translation field. Qian Zhongshu is a renowned translator and his contributions to translation are famous and distinguished. His translation works are original, academic, spiritual and creative. The contribution made by Qian Zhongshu has aroused great attention in public, especially his theory of Huajing, producing a profound influence. Translation is not only an exchange of information but also a highly cognitive as well as affective and value-laden activity, which can be reflected by Qian Zhongshu’s translation. As a bridge among various cultures, Qian Zhongshu plays a significant part in cross-cultural communication.
