摘 要
《简•爱》是夏洛蒂•勃朗特的一部经典作品。虽然简爱相貌平凡、家庭贫穷,但她有强大的内心并勇于和残酷的监管者、老板和社会相对抗。自1935年第一次被翻译成中文,英语论文范文,其独特的魅力征服了一代中国读者。《简•爱》的许多译本使它成为了中国人最喜爱的外国文学著作之一。其中以李霁野和祝庆英的版本最为出名。李霁野的版本为最早,而祝庆英的版本最广为流传。两个版本写于不同的年代,拥有不同的特色,各有各自的优缺点。由于受译者背景知识、教育、母语水平、个性、个人经历、英语能力等的作用,英语论文题目,每个译者关于原小说都有独到的见解。本文通过比较这两个译本的选词,句和段,来研讨翻译理论在文学翻译中的应用和揭示不同社会和文化环境对译者的作用。

Abstract
Jane Eyre is one of the world classics in the history of English literature, which was written by Charlotte Bronte. Though Jane comes from a poor family and has a plain appearance. Her mind is tough and is forced to battle against the exigencies of a cruel guardian, a harsh employer and a rigid social order. It was in 1935 that Jane Eyre was be translated into Chinese for the first time. Its unique charm conquers the Chinese readers, becoming one of their favourite foreign literary works. It has many versions which were translated into Chinese in China, among which those of Li Jiye and Zhu Qingying are of great popularity. Furthermore, the translation of Li Jiye is the earliest Chinese version, and the version of Zhu Qingying is the most popular. However, the two versions are not the same due to different background. In general, each one has its own advantages and disadvantages. With the influence of knowledge background, education, the level of mother tongue, character, personal experience, ability of English and so on, each translator has his own original opinion on this novel. The paper tries to compare them from word, sentence and paragraph, aiming at exploring the application of translation theory in literary translation practice. Also, this paper mainly compares the two translations, which were published in the 30s and 90s respectively. The purpose of the paper is to reveal the phenomenon of translator’s choice of vocabulary, which is influenced by the different social and cultural environment.

1 Introduction
1.1 Brief introduction
The British writer Charlotte Bronte(from 1816 to 1855) in 19th century wrote her magnum opus Jane Eyre, succeeding in shaping the image of women who can dare to fight against the fates and fight for freedom and equality. Story and bizarre plot twists and turns, full of passion and poetic. The language is concise and vivid, elegant and smooth, with a unique artistic charm.
