摘 要
电影是一种集艺术性和商业性于一体的艺术形式，是最具有作用力的媒体之一。随着中国改革开放的成功，中国与英语国家的经济文化交流日益频繁。近年来，越来越多的英语电影涌入中国电影市场。电影片名翻译是电影翻译中的重中之重，它既是介绍异域文化的一种手段，又是传播本国名族文化的一个重要途径。然而我们不难发现，同样一部电影的电影名在大陆香港和台湾三地却有着不同的翻译版本，它们各具特色，各有千秋，体现了不同地域独特的风俗习惯，思维方式和人文环境。但是，如此这般现象却导致了人们的困惑，到底该如何理解它们之间存在的共性和个性。
本文探究了三地不同的英语电影翻译名，英语论文，提出了相关的理论，接着阐述了英语电影名翻译的近况和几个作用翻译的因素。最后，英语论文，作者给出了电影名翻译的普遍准则以及建议。

Abstract
The film, a popular art with both artistic and commercial values, is one of the most influential mass media nowadays. With the success of China’s Reform and Opening up Policy and the strengthened economic and cultural communication between China and English-speaking countries, recent years have witnessed a large flow of English films into Chinese film market. The translation of the title of a film is the top priority through which exotic culture is introduced and our own culture is transferred. However，it’s easy to discover that one film title always has different translation in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. They all have their own features, showing unique customs, modes of thinking and humanistic environment. However, this phenomenon has confused people that how we can understand the general and specific characteristics among them.
This paper explores different translations among Mainland, HK and Taiwan, and puts forward the relevant theories, before comparing some typical examples in the three regions and explaining the factors influencing the naming of titles. Finally, the author gives three common translation principles.

1 Introduction
Owning to China’s policy of reform and opening up to the outside world, economy develops by leaps and bounds, and the continuous steps of globalization, communication among countries is becoming more and more frequent, of which cultural exchange is a prominent part. They are also one of the most important elements in the world’s cultural communication, which can be regarded as an effective way of promoting mutual understanding between different countries.
