浅析高中英语学习兴趣的性别异同因素[英语论文]

[摘要]:

英语学习是一个非常复杂的过程,它涉及诸多因素,其中英语学习者自身的因素是最直接和最主要的因素。在英语教学中不能只重视因材施教等常规教学准则,而对客观存在的学习者自身因素即男女生因性别不同而表现出来的在学习兴趣方面的异同熟视无睹。新课改背景下,对学生个体异同的关注成为教育理论界和事件的重要课题,性别异同更是其中不容忽视的环节。本文通过问卷调查的形式对男女生在英语学习兴趣中存在很大异同这一问题进行了初步的研讨,略论了产生这种异同的原因,英语论文题目英语论文范文,最后提出了相应的避免男女生在学习方面产生异同的各种对策,以促进男女生在英语学习中一同进步。

Abstract:

English learning is a very complex process, which includes many elements, especially the element of English learners themselves which is the most direct and principal element. The differences of the learners themselves, especially the gender difference, are often ignored in English teaching. After the reform of New Curriculum, it is becoming the most important task to pay attention to individual difference in teaching theory and practice, and gender difference is an ignored link. This paper is to discuss about the difference between boys and girls in English learning interest with the form of questionnaire survey in Middle School, and then to analyze the reason of the differences, and finally to put forward some countermeasures to avoid the unnecessary gender difference in English learning to promote common progress in English learning of boys and girls.

1. Introduction   
English is a necessary curriculum in senior high school, but we can really find that there are many differences in boys and girls in English teaching. From the beginning of 1920s, the relationship of gender difference and language learning has been paid close attention to by anthropologists, psychologists and sociologists, and they have made a lot of researches on it. The famous American psychologist E.L.Thordike proved that females are more excellent than males in language expressing and moment memory, but males are more excellent than females in space-intuition, the ability of comprehensive analysis, experiment observation, inference and knowing of history knowledge[1](P12).At the same time, teachers also can find that the students who have strong interest can study hard, and the interest is more important than capacity. Many other researches also prove that it has large difference of boys and girls in the interest of English learning; girls take an advantage in learning a foreign language. The differences of boys and girls exist objectively; girls have obvious advantage in learning the second language. This paper will analyze this kind of difference and find out the reason of difference in the interest of English learning of boys and girls, and put forward some advice to make boys and girls advanced together.
