Abstract
Women, as an integral part of society, played a significant role in ancient times as well as in modern society. In The Bible, there are many eminent characters about 3400 in all, while women are rarely portrayed in it, and most of these women appear in The Old Testament which is the production of patriarchal culture. Complied by men authors, a majority of women images are depicted as being marginalized or being cursed.
Apart from the introduction and conclusion, this thesis consists of three parts. The first part gives a brief analysis of the social standing and living conditions of women in The Bible, deeming that The Bible, especially The Old Testament, is a production of patriarchal culture. Part two interprets women images being marginalized and the reasons of being so in The Old Testament. Also, it interprets the images of women being cursed and the underlying reason in The Old Testament. Part three focuses on reconstructing these women images mentioned above and tries to give back their due social standing.
This thesis, interpreting and reconstructing women images in The Bible, is aimed to help with people’s further understanding of women images in The Old Testament, and, to help modern women to be more aware of their own value, and eventually achieve self-value.

摘要
女性作为社会不可或缺的组成部分，在古代和现代社会都发挥着重要的影响。《圣经》中有着许许多多丰富多彩的人物形象，但其中所记载的女性形象却是极为稀少，且其中绝大部分出现在《旧约圣经》中。而《旧约圣经》是父权制文化的产物，且在男性作者的编写下，出现的大多是被边缘化或被诅咒的女性形象。
除了绪论和结论外，本文共由三个部分构成。第一章简述《旧约圣经》是父权制文化的产物，并由此解析当时女性的社会地位和生存状态；第二章略论《旧约圣经》中被边缘化的女性形象及其原因，以及《旧约圣经》中被诅咒的女性形象及其原因；第三章将对上述章节所提到的女性形象重新进行审视，重塑她们应有的女性形象，英语毕业论文，英语论文题目，还原其应有的社会地位。
本文对《圣经》中女性形象的解读及重塑有助于大家对《旧约圣经》中女性形象的进一步认识和理解，同时帮助现代女性进一步了解自身价值，实现自我价值。
