Abstract
As one of the most influential British writers, Jane Austen has an irreplaceable place in the world literature. Although she has died for so many years, her influence is continuously increasing. With more and more readers’ new findings in her novel, people get to know more about this mysterious lady.
As a writer with good educational background and exquisite observation, Austen has experienced the unequal treatment to women in the late 18th century and early 19th century. So she creates one after another heroines with resistance spirit to declare her feminist consciousness. In this thesis, the author will expound Austen’s feminist consciousness by analyzing her best works Emma. The first part of this thesis is a brief introduction of Jane Austen and her works Emma, including its social background and theme; the second part introduces the concept of feminist consciousness, including its definition, development and reflection in contemporary era; and the third part deals with the analysis of the feminist consciousness embodied in the concrete details in Emma. First, she possesses the courage to pursue true love. Second, Emma is a woman with authority power, excellent judgment and a strong sense of self-awareness. Through this thesis, the writer wants to tell the readers that female plays a very important role in society and feminist consciousness is significant to women at the same time.

作为英国历史上最具作用力的小说家之一，简•奥斯汀在世界文学领域占有不可替代的位置。尽管她去世多年，但其作用力却是有增无减。越来越多的读者不断从她的小说中挖掘出来的新信息，让人们慢慢揭开了这位伟大女性的神秘面纱。
作为一名心思细腻，英语论文范文，且受过良好教育的女作家， 奥斯汀深深感受到英国18世纪末，19世纪初妇女遭受的各种不平等待遇。因此，她在自己的小说中刻画了一个又一个不卑不亢的女性，以此来宣扬自己的女性意识思想。本文通过剖析其成熟时期的著作《艾玛》来详细说明奥斯汀女性意识。论文的第一部分简要介绍了简•奥斯汀及其著作《艾玛》，包括其创作的社会背景及主题；第二部分引入女性意识这一概念，并介绍了女性意识的定义，发展过程，以及女性意识在当今社会的体现；第三部分具体结合《艾玛》这部著作，略论了其中体现的女性意识观点。首先论述了艾玛敢于追求真爱的勇气；然后阐述了艾玛具有传统女性截然不同的个性特点:权威，拥有非常理性的判断能力和强烈的自我意识。通过这篇论文，英语论文范文，作者旨在说明女性在社会中的重要地位以及女性意识对女性的重要性。
