摘 要
《最蓝的眼睛》是诺贝尔文学奖得主托尼.莫里森的第一部小说，故事以莫里森的家乡俄亥俄州乐仁镇为背景，叙述十一岁的黑人女孩佩可拉祈求自己的眼睛能够变蓝，以便看起来像金发碧眼的孩子那样漂亮，那样讨人喜爱。佩可拉以为这样的改变能使其人生从此不同。然而，英语论文范文，发生在她身上的一件骇人事件，也使她的人生走向悲剧性毁灭。书里不仅深刻描绘出有所渴盼的孩童心中所存在的惧怕与孤独，更藉由一个以他人眼光来判定自我价值的极端例子。已有不少评论家对此小说从各种不同角度进行过略论鉴赏，有从家庭视角解读的，英语论文网站，有从女权主义思想略论的，也有从文化冲击角度来略论的等等，这些不同层面的解读都有一个共性：黑人的悲惨命运是由他们的认知以及作用他们认知的因素造成的。本文通过将佩可拉和克劳蒂亚的截然不同的命运的对比来说明这个问题。因此本文将对以往的探讨结果进行综合性概括总结，从认知的角度对该小说进行简要解析，希望从一个新的视角获得一些新的发现。

Abstract
“The Bluest Eye” is the first novel of Toni Morrison who is a Nobel Prize winner, the background of the story was Morrison’s hometown Oklahoma. The story described an eleven-year-old black girl Pecola wanted her eyes to become blue so that she could be beautiful like the white girl with golden hair and blue eyes, so that she could be loved. She thought that if her eyes become blue her destiny can be different, but a series of terrible things happened to her and destroyed her. This novel not only described the frightening and lonely life of a child with expectation, but also an extreme example that someone completely evaluated his self-value based on others’ views. Many critics have already done many researches on it from different aspects such as the point of family, the point of the collision of culture, the Feminism etc, all of these have a common feature: the source reason of the black’s tragic fates is the cognition of them and the factors that influenced it. This article will explain the issue through the contrast of the different destinies of Pecola and Claudia. Thus, this article will integrate and summarize the previous research outcomes and analyze this novel from the point of cognition, expecting to have new findings.

1 Introduction
1.1 The introduction of the writer
Toni Morrison, an African-American writer. She was born on February 18th 1931 in Ohio Lauren town which near Cleveland. Her parents was Southern tenant farmers in Alabama, they came to this steel town Rolen in order to escape poverty, Morrison was born at a time of the Great Depression, his father made an effort to maintain a family life by doing odd jobs. In order to help the family to relive the financial difficulty, Morrison began working when she was 12 years old, she also study tenaciously at the same time, and finished high school with honors.
