从女性主义角度略论《简爱》[英语论文]

摘 要

    当今社会,英语论文范文,女性选择婚礼的时候往往将物质主义视为极其重要的一个条件,这种风气还有愈演愈烈之势,她们心甘情愿做财富的奴隶,逐渐丧失女性应有的自尊自立自强,这种现象引发了人们的思考。而早在维多利亚时代早期夏洛蒂的《简爱》中,女主人公简爱童年的卑微地位和困苦生活都未能泯灭她女权主义的思想追求,英语论文题目,她勇于冲破传统封建思想的束缚,并坚持自己的准则与社会的不平等作斗争,用自己的一生追求自尊,自爱,自立,自强。本文采用文献探讨法来略论简爱一生中的女权主义思想的萌芽,发展,成熟,和升华。本探讨的的目的唤起广大年轻女性树立真正的自尊,自爱,自立,自强,并承担女性应有的社会责任。

Abstract

   In today’s society, some women treat the fortune as the necessity of marriage and this social phenomenon is becoming more intensified now. They are money-worshippers who prefer to be the slave of the money and power, and lose self-respect, self-confidence, self-reliance and self-strengthening of women gradually. As a woman in new era, we can earn our own living by ourselves, we are not accessories of man, and we have our own social value. However, in the early Victorian period, the low social status and miserable life did not prevent Jane Eyre to pursue the Feminism. The heroine Jane Eyre is a feminist, and she is brave in breaking the bondage of the feudal thought that the men are superior to women, using her life to pursue the self-respect, self-confidence, self-reliance and self-strengthening. She does not act in the way that the “custom” or “feudalism” ask her to do, for she wants the equal right, mutual understanding, and independence. This paper is using Literature Research Method to analyze the enlightenment, the development, the maturity and sublimation of the feminism in Jane Eyre’s life. The purpose of this research paper is to arouse the young woman in new era to establish the consciousness of self-respect, self-confidence, and self-reliance and self-strengthening and to shoulder their responsibilities and to gain their social value.

1 Introduction
   Jane Eyre has been popular with readers all over the world since its publication in 1847. Charlotte Bronte, which is the most outstanding British writers in nineteenth century, and she was a famous talented realistic woman novelist. She portrayed the struggle of the individual to maintain his integrity with a dramatic intensity entirely new to English fiction.
