摘 要
简•奥斯丁是英国文学史上最著名的小说家之一，而世界闻名的《傲慢与偏见》则是她最优秀的著作。它被写得如此好以致于吸引了很多学者和英语系学生来对它做探讨。在对于伊丽莎白和简的探讨方面，有些人探讨婚姻或婚姻观，有些人探讨人物形象和性格，有些从情节角度探讨，英语毕业论文，还有一些从女性主义角度来探讨。至于对她们俩的性格探讨方面，学者们更多地探讨女主角伊丽莎白的性格，因此对她性格的略论相对更具体一些。除此之外，很少有学者比较两者的性格，英语论文题目，所以这方面的探讨通常比较片面，因此做这个方面的探讨有很大的重要意义。本文将通过文献法和定性略论法对伊丽莎白和简的性格做一个综合的、细的略论和比较，从而得出具体全面的结论。通过此论文，读者们将会对《傲慢与偏见》这本小说以及小说中这两个性格鲜明、讨人喜欢的女性有更好的了解，同时对那个时期的社会背景也会有更好的理解。

Abstract
Jane Austen is one of the most famous novelists in English literature. And the world-renowned novel Pride and Prejudice is her best works. It is so well-written that it attracts a lot of scholars and English majors to do research or make a study on it. As for the research of Elizabeth and Jane, some study their marriages, some focus on the images and character (dispositions), some study from plot perspective, and others research from feminism perspective. When it comes to the researches on their character, scholars do more on the character of Elizabeth. Therefore, the analysis on Elizabeth’s character is more specific. Besides, very few scholars make a comparison between their character, so the analysis on it is usually one-sided. Therefore, it is of great significance to do such a research. In this paper, documentary method and qualitative analysis method will be used to make a comprehensive and detailed analysis and comparison on the character of Elizabeth and Jane. And then specific and all-round conclusions will be drawn. In addition, through this paper, the readers will know more about Pride and Prejudice and the two distinctive and delightful females, and also have a better understanding of the social background of that time.
