网范文:“Environmental problems need to be solved urgently”。 Nowadays the greater majority of human beings have realized the gravity of China’s environmental problems in that more and more people have suffered a lot from those environmental problems and they are in great urgency to solve those environmental problems in order to help them out. They are tortured by a certain disease for a long time as is caused by the environmental problems and such disease seems to deteriorate with the passage of time and the worsening of the environmental problems. And it is a common sense that if the already existent environmental problems have not got necessary attention and control of human beings, then the consequences are really hard to imagine and it is quite difficult to predict how many more people will be influenced further and further. The situation in the due time will really be one as is horrible as one can never imagine, which can in the meanwhile indicate the necessity and inevitability for human beings to explore the details of those environmental problems at the first place so as to later come up with effective solutions for those environmental problems. Only in this way can human beings at present really be saved and can those generations after generations live in a world that is without the seriousness of the environmental problems so that they can really live a happy life without the torturing from the adverse impacts from the environmental problems. Therefore this will mainly discuss China’s environmental problems caused by the development and utilization of land resources, during which feasible suggestions as for how to solve those problems will be put forward from my own point of view. China’s Environmental Problems Caused by the Development and Utilization of Land Resources There is no doubt that various China’s environmental problems have turned up in the process of the development and utilization of land resources. But what has to be made clear here is that this will only mention some of China’s environmental problems due to the text limit, those ones being the most typical and serious ones from my own perspective. Also, I have to admit that the explanation of the environmental problems is simply my own explanation as will undoubtedly involve my subjective personal emotions and it may be with more or less defects in one way or another due to my being lack of experience, which calls for your precious opinions and delicate attention. First and foremost comes that demand for , chopsticks and furniture has led to an increased rate of forest depletion with China now ranking as one of the countries with the lowest percentage of forest coverage globally. This has led to unpredictable weather patterns, soil erosion and loss of rare species of animals and plants commonly called biodiversity (Ploberger, 2017). If you are one that observes the life carefully, then you can easily find the concrete impacts that those environmental problems have exerted on each and every aspect in human beings’ daily life. To put it more specifically, human beings’ greater and greater demand for disposable chopsticks due to the increasingly quick development of the fast food industry has resulted in the surprising deduction of the forest coverage percentage. And the increasingly quick development of the fast food industry is the result of the faster and faster life pace of human beings in modern times. The deduction of the forest coverage has brought fatal damage to the environment and the air quality has taken a turn for the worse again and again in that the forest has played a crucial role in air purification and the deduction of the forest coverage will directly influence the whole process of air purification. The key significance of the forests has made it become the lungs of the earth and the earth can not live without the support of the forests. It is an inevitable trend that human beings’ health will, to a large extent, be influenced if they are confronted with bad air quality everyday and they breathe the poor air everyday. At that time, human beings will feel regretful for their past behaviors and they would rather that they have not done the wrong behaviors toward the nature and they can still enjoy the fresh air each and every day so that their living standards can become higher and higher through personal efforts. Desertification is another consequence of uncontrolled forest destruction in China. Due to overgrazing in open grasslands and practicing unsuitable agricultural techniques, the desert in northern part of China is expanding at an alarming rate of 900 square km per year. Sandstorms resulting from deforestation not only affect the Chinese territory but have been reaching further out sometimes even covering regions of the United States’, Korean and Japanese skies. The dust is blown by wind and is responsible in worsening respiratory problems in affected individuals (Ploberger, 2017). |
