The purpose of this study aims (1) to investigate which educational program attributes and trainees' personal attributes are significantly related to transfer of training and (2) to investigate the relationship between transfer of training and job performance and (3) to verify the moderating role of cultural competence on the relationship between transfer of training and job performance. The model was tested using data collected from 214 medical tourism coordinators by on-site survey. According to the results, the educational program attributes were important factors influencing the transfer of training. Among the trainees' personal attributes, only self-efficacy was contributes to the transfer of training. This study also show that the transfer of training had positive impact on job performance. Finally, cultural competence had moderating role between transfer of training and job performance. Based on these findings, several effective strategies were discussed.
