여성 신체 미술가들은 신체를 통해 성(Sexuality)·인종(Race)·젠더(Gender)의 문제에 주목하면서 여성의 타자화에 대해 의문을 제기하였다. 그들은 여성의 주체적 정체성을 회복하고 새로운 의미... 여성 신체 미술가들은 신체를 통해 성(Sexuality)·인종(Race)·젠더(Gender)의 문제에 주목하면서 여성의 타자화에 대해 의문을 제기하였다. 그들은 여성의 주체적 정체성을 회복하고 새로운 의미를 부여해왔다. 본 논문은 타자의 개념이 남성을 주체로 보고 그에 대비된 개념으로써 여성을 타자로 인식하는 것에 초점을 맞추고, 자본주의적 가부장제(家父長制) 사회 속에서 살아가는 여성이 느끼는 여성 차별에 대해 문제를 제기하고자 하였다. 이 문제를 서술하는 과정에서 본 논문은 여성의 신체 이미지를 통한 여성성 표현이 여성 차별을 완화시키는 파급적인 효과를 기대할 수 있는지에 대한 가능성을 동시에 탐색하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 프랑스 여성 철학자인 시몬느 드 보부아르(Simone de Beauvoir, 1908~1986)가 『제 2의 성』에서 발전시킨 타자로서의 여성 개념으로부터 출발하였다. 그녀는 여성성이 학습을 통해 사회가 요구하는 이상향으로서 만들어지는 것이지 태어날 때부터 정해진 특성이 있는 것은 아니라고 서술한다. 또한 본 논문은 이러한 타자의 개념을 중심으로 포스트모더니즘에 와서 주목되는 신체의 상징적 의미에 대해서 고찰해보았다. 그리고 사진으로 신체 이미지를 활용하여 작업했던 작가들의 작품을 분석하여 연구자 작업의 전개방법에 일부 차용하였다. 본 연구자의 작품은 여성이 자신의 신체에 주목하고 그것을 이용하여 다양한 감정의 포즈로서 이미지를 재현하도록 시도하였다. 남성의 시선에서 여성의 신체가 타자화 되는 것이 아니라 여성 자신의 신체적 의미를 주체적으로 표현하였다. 주로 사용된 기법은 신체를 사진 촬영하고 포토샵(Photoshop)으로 이미지를 재구성하였다. 재구성된 이미지는 섬유 소재에 텍스타일 프린팅 기법으로 표현하였다. 프린팅 기법에는 DTP(Digital Textile Printing) 기법, 오프셋 프린팅(Offset printing) 기법, 전사 기법이 사용되었고, 이 외에 염색과 스티치를 사용하여 신체 이미지를 통한 여성성 표현을 연구하였다. 그리하여 본인의 작업에 대한 메시지를 작품에 표현하는데 있어 섬유미술과 사진 매체를 효과적으로 접목시키고자 하였다. 과거의 여성 차별과 자본주의적 가부장제가 여전히 극복되지 않았음에도 불구하고 여성 혐오가 사회적인 문제로 대두되고 있다. 여성 차별이 오랫동안 깊은 의식과 문화 속에 자리 잡아 왔기 때문에 쉽게 묵인하는 경향이 있었다. 그러나 여성 혐오가 더욱 확산되기 전에 문제를 제기하고 표현하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다. 연구자의 작업이 차세대 한국 여성이 한국 사회 속에서 건강하고 나은 삶을 살아갈 수 있도록 긍정적인 방향으로 나아가는데 도움이 되기를 기대한다.

Female physical artists question the otherization of women as they focus on the issues of sexuality, race, and gender through the body. They have restored the identity of women and have given new meaning to them. This focuses on the fact that the understanding of the concept of the other takes men as the subject and recognizes women as the other (i.e., in opposition to men), and poses a problem concerning the discrimination felt by women living in a capitalist patriarchal society. In the process of describing this problem, this attempted to examine the possibility of whether the expression of femininity through the body images of women can have a ripple effect that alleviates discrimination against women. This study started from the concept of woman as the other, which the female philosopher Simone de Beauvoir developed in her The Second Sex. She states that femininity is created as an ideal that society demands through learning, rather than derived from characteristics in place from birth. In addition, this examines the symbolic meaning of the body, which has become the center of attention in postmodernism, centering on the concept of the other. I used some of the methods of developing my work by analyzing the works of the authors who worked with body images using photographs. My work attempted to lead women to focus on their own body and use it to represent the image as a pose of various emotions. It expressed the physical meaning of the woman herself, rather than the otherized meaning of the woman’s body from the perspective of men. The main technique used was to take a photo of the body and reconstruct the image using Photoshop. The reconstructed image was expressed by textile printing technique on textile material. Printing methods such as digital printing techniques, offset printing techniques, and transfer techniques were used. In addition, the expression of femininity was studied through staining and stitching. I thereby intended to effectively combine textile art and photographic media in expressing my message in my work. Discrimination against women and capitalist patriarchy have not been completely overcome yet, and misogyny is rising as a social problem. There is a tendency to tolerate discrimination against women, because it had long been in the deep consciousness and culture. However, it is most important to raise and express problems before misogyny is further spread. I hope that my research will help the Korean women of the next generation to move forward in a positive direction so that they can lead a healthy and better life in Korean society. ，韩语毕业论文，韩语毕业论文 |
