The club activity that has been used for leisure time in college life has recently been linked to the problems of the Korean job market, and the purpose of club activity seems to be changing from pleasure to job searching. In this study, we analyzed the actual situation of the club activities of college students majoring in art related subjects in fine arts colleges, and analyzed empirically how participation and satisfaction of these club activities had an effect on career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity. And it is my wish that this study could be qualified to present basic data for future club activities related policies in college. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of club activities on career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity among students of the three fine arts colleges located in the metropolitan area. The 300 questionnaire was distributed from October 4 to October 31, 2016 for about 27 days, and 288 questionnaires were used for the final analysis. For the analysis, The SPSS 21.0 statistical package was used. The data was analyzed by frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, as a result of analyzing the actual situation of club activities, 56.6% of club activities was related to “culture and arts” and it was the most popular type of club activity. For the purpose of club activity, 35.1% of students answered “for pleasure.” 49.0% of the respondents answered that the club activities were "helpful" in terms of the career. With above results, it was found that the club activities of fine arts college students related to “culture and arts” are both enjoyable and helpful for their career. Second, as a result of analyzing the effect of participation of club activities on career decision-making self-efficacy, participation of club activities exerted significant positive effect on the subscales of career decision-making self-efficacy: in order of problem solving, planning, occupational information, self-appraisal, and goal selection. Third, as a result of analyzing the effect of club participation on career maturity, participation of club activities exerted significant positive effect on the subscales of career maturity: in order of readiness, independence, and assurance. Fourth, as a result of analyzing the effect of the satisfaction of club activities on career decision-making self-efficacy, satisfaction of club activities exerted significant positive effect on the subscales of career decision-making self-efficacy: in order of goal selection, self-appraisal and problem solving. Fifth, as a result of analyzing the effect of the satisfaction of club activities on career maturity, satisfaction of club activities exerted significant positive effect on the subscales of career maturity: in order of assurance, independence, and readiness. Sixth, as a result of analyzing the effect of career decision-making self-efficacy on career maturity, it is found that the subscales of career decision-making self–efficacy, in order of goal selection, problem solving, and self-appraisal, has a significant effect on determination, which is a subscale of career maturity. And planning had a significant positive effect on orientation and negative effect on self-appraisal. Readiness, a subscale of career maturity, had a significant positive effect on problem solving and a significant negative effect on occupational information. Independence, a subscale of career maturity, had positive effect on in order of self-appraisal and goal selection. Only subscale of career maturity, which had a positive effect on self-appraisal was assurance. The results of this study suggest that the club activities of fine arts college, which are more fun-oriented rather than goal oriented actually affect the students' efficacy and maturity for their career. Therefore, I suggest that it is necessary to support the club activities reflecting the unique characteristics of the arts major. Currently colleges in Korea are encouraging start-up club activity as well as employment support programs in order to raise the employment rate. However, in the aspects of art majoring students’ life quality and future career, it seems better to be engaged in club activities where creativity and artistic imagination can be developed rather than to be engaged in club activities with purpose of employment. In other words, I have recognized that fun-oriented club activity of fine arts college students play a role to help students’ career. Therefore, schools and governments need to respect its uniqueness and to provide systematic support to expand its role rather than to apply conventional club activity policies just to simply solve the issue of employment rate. ,韩语论文范文,韩语毕业论文 |
