Since the mid-1990s, marriage migrant women increased rapidly so at the end of 2012 they are amounting to 148,498. Therefore, the support for marriage migrant women target and range has expanded having propelled and managed as the government measures. As a result, 71.4% of immigrants, naturalized citizens are aware of the multi-cultural family support centers, 46.2% of them have experienced one or more training and support service. Compared to 2009, the initial adaptation is progressed and poverty is alleviated, because establishing a healthy marriage migrant practices, initial adaptation support for multi-cultural family and easing the child-rearing burden of marriage migrant women give positive effects. The purpose of the study was to understand the experience of pregnancy and prenatal experiences of marriage migrant women but also, identify the contributing factors of health service utilization of marriage migrant women. The phenomenological approach was used as a qualitative research method. Data were collected from April, 2016 to August, 2016 through non-structured in-depth interview and all data were analyzed using Van Kaam`s phenomenological method. The participants of this study were consists of 10 members and then 2 meaning units and 3 theme were categorized into 11. First ‘The difficult reasons of prenatal care’ was categorized into ‘Family support’, ‘Changed the mother’s body’, ‘Language culture gap’, ‘Food culture gap,’ Self health concerned’, and ‘Prenatal education’. Second,‘ State of prenatal care’ was categorized into ‘A use of health center’, ‘A checkup’, ‘Health education’. Finally, ‘Support of a government’ was categorized into ‘Visiting teaching’, ‘Medical guarantee’. Marriage migrant women think that the meaning of marriage is pregnant and caring for themselves. They trying to become a good and healthy mother in the Korea society and endure themselves while trying to adapt in the Korea society and culture. It is necessary to understand and analyze of tough learning experience of migrant women while pregnant and giving birth in Korea, which will make a new family with the multi-cultural families. There are complex interrelated factors in health service utilization of marriage migrant women. marriage migrant women showed relatively high demand for health service during pregnancy and delivery. In addition, they have different health service utilization experience in their own mother countries.
