본 연구는 공공건축에 대한 관심이 증가와 함께, 건설산업에서 건축문화로의 패러다임이 변함에 따라 서울시의 공공건축과 관련한 제도의 변화와 업무체계를 살펴보았다. 각각의 업무는 기... 본 연구는 공공건축에 대한 관심이 증가와 함께, 건설산업에서 건축문화로의 패러다임이 변함에 따라 서울시의 공공건축과 관련한 제도의 변화와 업무체계를 살펴보았다. 각각의 업무는 기획, 사전검토, 설계발주, 설계공모, 사후설계관리, 모니터링 및 평가로 구성된다. 이러한 업무의 내용을 이해하고 서울시 업무현황을 살펴본 결과, 현재는 개정된 법규에 대한 업무체계를 조성해나가는 단계이며, 아직은 업무상에 미흡한 점이 많음을 확인하였다. 업무의 개선계획으로는 단기, 중·장기 방안을 마련하였다. 서울시 내에서 기획, 사전검토 업무 등의 문제점을 해결하는 것을 단기 계획으로 구성하고, 중·장기적으로는 공공건축 조성 관련 업무를 지원하는 서울시 공공건축지원센터를 구축·운영 할 방안을 제안한다. 서울시 내부의 문제를 우선 개선하고, 이를 통해 국가공공건축지원센터와 상호 업무 교류할 수 있는 시스템이 구축될 것이다.
