In Korea, the seriousness of juvenile health problems has emerged and as a solution, school health education has begun to attract attention as a national policy agenda. Based on the organizational movement of health teachers, such as the Health Education Forum, it is a major milestone in the National Assembly in 2007 to enact legislation for systematic health education for all schools and all students. As a follow-up measure, the health education curriculum was announced in the national curriculum for the first time in 2008, and after that, in 2009 (2011), 2015, the health curriculum was revised and announced as part of the revision of the whole curriculum, and it is now. These changes in school health education are closely related to the proliferation of health promotion. In particular, since the Ottawa Charter in 1986, social, cultural, and environmental models have been approached rather than medical models, emphasis has been shifting on health rights and the establishment of healthy public policies. These changes have been the basis for OECD countries' activities, policies and education curriculum development aimed at health. Health promotion targets everyone, not just a specific group of people with health problems, and aims at the health of everyone. Health promotion with these characteristics will be a necessary paradigm to mitigate the serious social polarization and health inequality in Korea. It is also important to ensure that children and adolescents' health are directly linked to positive school experiences and educational attainment, and affect adulthood and socioeconomic status so that children and adolescents can internalize their health promotion ideals and develop competencies to practice them. It will be very important. In Korea, however, health promotion is not considered as an important agenda. Therefore, it is necessary and desirable to construct education curriculum in terms of health promotion. In order to construct the health education curriculum of Korea, it was influenced by the health education curriculum of OECD countries such as USA, Finland, Australia, and it was applied to our reality to enhance the effectiveness of health education, This study was carried out to contribute to this study. 2008․2008․.2015 Health education curriculum was reviewed and compared in terms of health promotion. The scope of the study was limited to the middle school curriculum for the adequacy of the contents. The research method is to study each health education course based on the constitutional area of health promotion in 2008, 2009,2015 and compare the three health education curriculums I have. Health promotion is divided into the ideology, the activity area, and the activity method based on the concept of health promotion presented in the Ottawa Charter. The ideology of health promotion is divided into health rights, health equity, social responsibility, the activity area of health promotion, building health public policy, create supportive environments, strengthening community action and re-orientating health care services toward prevention of illness and the method of health promotion was divided into advocacy, enable, and mediation. The health curriculum was divided into the background, goal, contents, and achievement standards. As a result, the 2008 health education curriculum focuses on the self-health management of individuals relatively, but the 2009 health education curriculum does not include the use of health resources and coping skills, health, society and culture. This is a turning point in the health education curriculum because it is composed of major parts, and social participation and public policy are emphasized. In comparison with 2009, in 2015, the scope of health promotion ideology and activity was clarified in 2009, but the two major parts that were composed from the viewpoint of health promotion were reduced to "health resources, society and culture" . It is believed that the subjects such as health education curriculum, social resources and culture, government policies, In order for health education to be more effective in the future, more research is needed to develop and operate the health education curriculum from the viewpoint of health promotion, and health equity, minority sensitivity, personal and social consideration should be further cultivated. In addition, it is also necessary to introduce health education curriculum, elementary school health education curriculum notices, placement of special researchers of health education in the curriculum departments of the Ministry of Education, strengthening community relations, advocacy and experience activities, resurrection of health education curriculum council, Suggest that effort is needed.
