애시드 재즈는 1980년대 영국에서 발생한 재즈의 하위 장르로써 다양한 장르의 결합으로 이루어진 음악이며 오늘날의 다른 음악 장르의 발전에도 영향을 끼친 음악이다. 본 연구에서는 애시... 애시드 재즈는 1980년대 영국에서 발생한 재즈의 하위 장르로써 다양한 장르의 결합으로 이루어진 음악이며 오늘날의 다른 음악 장르의 발전에도 영향을 끼친 음악이다. 본 연구에서는 애시드 재즈의 대표적인 밴드인 인코그니토의 앨범「포지티비티(Positivity)」의 ‘Still a Friend of Mine’을 통해 그들의 음악적 스타일을 분석한다. 선행분석곡의 펑크적인 리듬 연주패턴과 소울적 보컬, 펑키한 베이스, 모달 인터체인지와 하이브리드 코드를 비롯한 재즈 화성을 연구하여 자작곡에 적용한다. 또한 자작곡에는 리버스(Reverse) 피아노 샘플에 사이드 체인(Side Chain)을 적용하여 피아노를 제작하고, 신디사이저를 사용한 리드와 신스베이스를 사용한다. 그 후 필터와 히스노이즈를 첨가하여 전자음악적인 효과를 더한다. 이 연구를 통하여 애시드 재즈에서의 전자음악적인 요소를 효과적으로 제작하는 방법을 연구할 뿐만 아니라 장르 안에서 전자악기의 사용을 효과적으로 할 수 있는 참고자료가 될 것을 기대한다. 주제어: 인코그니토, 애시드 재즈, 재즈 펑크

Its wide range has resulted in the development of other styles of music. In this study, ‘Still a Fri... Its wide range has resulted in the development of other styles of music. In this study, ‘Still a Friend of Mine’, a song that comes from the most acclaimed Acid Jazz group Incognito's album 「Positivity」, is analyzed. In this self-made song, various Acid Jazz qualities are applied. Elements of the previously mentioned song are incorporated, such as funky rhythmic patterns, Soul, funky bass, Modal-Interchange and Hybrid Codes reminiscent of ‘Still a Friend of Mine’. Plus, in the process of making the original composition, the piano sample is reversed and a Side Chain is applied within the reversed sample. Lead and synth bass, achieved through the utilization of a synthesizer, is also used in this song. Later, in order to add an electronic music feel, filter and hiss noise is added. This information will be a good reference for how electronic components can be efficiently used in Acid Jazz music as well as a reference for how instruments can be efficiently used in music in general.
