한류 문화 확산에 따라 세계 곳곳에 있는 외국인들이 점차 한국에 대해 관심이 많아져 한국어 공부를 하기 시작하고 있다. 그러나 내몽골 현지에는 몇 십 곳의 대학교가 있으나 아직 정식으로 한국어 관한 수업을 설계한 학교는 한 군데도 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 내몽골 지역 몽골인 대학생들을 위한 한국 문화 교재 개발에 대해 모색하고자 한다.
이를 위해 1장에서는 먼저 본 연구의 필요성과 목적을 밝히고 그 동안 이루어져 온 연구들 중에서 한국 문화 교육에 관한 연구, 문화 항목에 관한 연구 그리고 교재 개발에 관한 연구에 대해 검토해 보았다.
2장에서는 먼저 한국 문화의 목표, 내용에 대해 살펴보고 그것을 통해 문화의 내용을 여섯 가지 유형으로 재분류하였는데 이는 본 연구에서 분석할 교재에 활용하기 위하였다. 그 다음으로는 내몽골 현지 한국어 또는 한국 문화 교육에 대한 부족함을 밝히고 그 이유에 대해 설명하였다. 그 다음에는 최근 한국 국내에서 발간된 문화 교재들 중에서 세 권을 대상으로 선정하여 교재의 외적 구성과 내적 구성에 대해서 본격적으로 분석하고 교재들이 주로 어떤 방식을 사용하였는지 비교하고 또, 공통으로 출현된 문화 내용들을 정리하였다.
3장에서는 앞의 2장과 3장에서 살펴보고 분석한 결과를 종합하여 이를 바탕으로 설문지 내용을 만들어 내몽골 현지 대학생들에게 설문조사를 실시하여 이에 대해 분석하였다.
4장에서는 교재 분석 결과와 설문조사 결과를 토대로 내몽골 대학생들을 위해 개발할 문화 교재의 원리와 단원 구성을 설계하고 실제로 한 단원의 모형을 제시해보도록 하였다.
5장에서는 본 연구의 결론 부분으로서 연구 내용에 대해서 간단한 정리를 한 후 본 연구의 의의와 한계점을 밝혔다.

It has become popular for people around the world to learn Korean language more than ever before, as the K-wave has made them interested in Korean culture including the language. According to the trend, in Inner Mongolia region, tens of universities are willing to provide Korean language program to potential learners among their students. However, it's been found that they have no teaching materials to carry out their education plan. Therefore, this study aims to develop a textbook introducing Korean Culture to university students in Inner Mongolia region.
Chapter 1, Introduction; Motivation of the study, Clarification of the main themes, and Development of the textbooks in the market.
Chapter 2, six types of Korean cultural studies, in order to build a structure of the textbook; based on analysis about the purpose and the context of Korean culture.
Chapter 3, Analysis of survey conducted for potential learners of Korean culture in Inner Mongolia region based on Chapter 1-2.
Chapter 4, Demonstration of main theme and structure of the textbook and furthermore a model of one unit; based on the analysis in Chapter 1-3.
Chapter 5, Conclusion of this study; Summary of all the chapters and Evaluation of lesson and limits.
