The objectives of this study are to provide fundamental materials on effective educational researches with analyzing the causes and patterns of particles error, which has been revealed in the spoken language of Indonesian Korean learners. In this study, types and causes of learners’ particles error were analyzed with construction of corpus of Indonesian learners of the Korean language. The objectives and necessities of the study were described. Also contributions and limitations of the study were reviewed with particles error from the spoken data of the Korean education and Indonesian learners. And importance and focus of the error study were considered with interlanguage hypothesis and error analysis hypothesis. And methodological foundation of this study were established with considering the procedure and classification standard of the error analysis. Collecting procedure of the spoken data and corpus of Indonesian Korean learner was explained and processes of the error analysis and classification methods were introduced. The particles error of the Indonesian Korean learners was analyzed. Patterns of the particles error were classified into replacement, omission, and addition. It was explained that the causes of the error were influences of the native language interference and target language. From the analysis, features of the particles error of the Indonesian Korean learners and focus of the language education were suggested.
