본 연구는 외국인 학습자에게 보다 효율적으로 불규칙용언을 교수·학습하기 위해서, 교재에 불규칙용언이 어떠한 방식으로 제시되고 다루어져야 하는지, 그 방안을 논하는 것이 목적이다. ... 본 연구는 외국인 학습자에게 보다 효율적으로 불규칙용언을 교수·학습하기 위해서, 교재에 불규칙용언이 어떠한 방식으로 제시되고 다루어져야 하는지, 그 방안을 논하는 것이 목적이다. 외국인 학습자들이 가장 기본이면서 기초가 되는 불규칙용언에 대한 이해와 인식을 제대로 숙지하지 못한다면, 한국어를 정확하고 올바르게 구사하지 못하게 될 것이고, 반복적으로 비슷한 종류의 오류를 범하게 되어 의사소통을 하는 데 있어 문제가 발생하게 될 것이다. 그렇기 때문에 외국어로서의 한국어 교육 교재에서 다루어지고 있는 불규칙용언을 중심으로 국어학적 관점이 아닌, 한국어교육학적 관점으로 불규칙 용언에 대한 개념과 종류를 정리할 것이다. 그리고 기존의 교수 방법과 학습 방법의 문제점을 분석하고 보완하여, 외국인 학습자들이 많은 오류를 범하지 않고, 불규칙용언을 보다 쉽고, 빠르게 습득할 수 있도록 할 것이다. 또한 효과적인 교수와 학습을 고려하여 교재에 불규칙 용언이 어떻게 제시가 되는 것이 좋은지에 대한 개선방안을 찾아보는 데 목적이 있다.

This study aims to discuss how Korean irregular should be presented in the textbooks to make sure that foreign learners can more efficiently teach or learn them. If they fail to properly understand and know the most fundamental and basic Korean irregular, they may repeatedly make similar mistakes and have the problems in their communication. Thus, this study will summarize the concepts and kinds of the irregular from the perspective of Korean language education, not from the viewpoint of Korean linguistics, by focusing on the irregular that are being addressed in the educational textbooks of Korean as a foreign language. In addition, it will analyze and complement the problems that are found in the previous teaching and learning methods to make sure that foreign learners are able to learn Korean irregular more easily and rapidly without making many mistakes.
