본 연구는 중국인 한국어 학습자의 말하기 능력을 향상시키기 위해서 정의적 요인인 말하기 불안에 중점을 두고 이 말하기 불안을 감소시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하는 데에 목적이 있다.
본 연구를 위해 먼저 중국인 한국어 학습자 103명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사를 통해서 초급, 중급, 고급 학습자들 중에서 중급 학습자가 일상생활에서 말하기 불안의 정도가 제일 높다는 결과가 나왔다. 이어서 중급 학습자가 일상생활에서 장소, 상황, 기능별에 따른 불안의 정도에 대해 조사하여 학습자가 실제 수업에서 수행하는 교육 연극적 기법이 무엇인가 및 이 기법이 말하기 불안의 감소에 유용한가, 또는 학습자가 원하는 교육 연극적 기법이 무엇인가에 대해 조사하였다.
설문조사 결과에 따라 교육 연극적 기법으로서의 3인 이상의 역할극을 활용하여 교수-학습 방안을 제시하였다. 이어서 제시한 교육 연극적 기법이 학습자의 말하기 불안 감소에 미치는 영향이 어떠한가를 검증하기 위해서 중급 한국어 학습자 11명을 대상으로 실험을 실시하였다. 교육 연극적 기법을 적용하기 전에 元田(2000) 개발된 'JLAS(Japanese Language Anxiety Scale)'를 통해서 학습자의 말하기 불안도를 측정하였고 적용한 후에 다시 측정하였다. 학습자가 사전, 사후 불안도의 비교를 통해서 검증하였다.
사전 검사에서 그 평균 수치가 한국어 말하기 불안이 39.16점으로 아주 높은 점수가 나왔음을 알 수 있다. 그렇지만 실험연구 기간 동안 교육 연극적 기법으로의 역할극을 활용한 수업을 적용한 후에 측정한 점수는 30.18점으로 그 수치가 낮아졌음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 교육 연극적 기법을 활용한 교수-학습 방법은 학생들의 한국어 말하기 불안의 유의한 변화를 가져왔다고 말할 수 있다.

but the research of improving the ability of speaking is also insufficient.
Especially, the speak is done through a direct meeting between a speaker
and listener and that it is context-specific and affected a lot by
psychological and affective elements. Even the best speak training method
couldn't work if a learner fears speaking and has no willingness to
communicate with others.
In this study, In order to understand the impact of psychological factors in
speaking ability, learning experiences, and the difficulties of the learning,

For those purposes, the study examined those who were studying Korean
at a Korean learning center attached to a university for language anxiety
and analyzed the specific factors to cause language anxiety and the
correlations between academic achievement and their anxiety caused by
language anxiety and relationships with teachers. In an effort to measure
language anxiety felt by Korean learners, the investigator made a language
anxiety scale by consulting 'FLCAS' and 'MLAT' most used to measure
foreign language anxiety and revising ‘JLAS' fit for the present study. The
results of the study revealed that educational drama generally has a positive
effect on students speaking-anxiety education.
