본 연구는 다큐멘터리 텍스트의 구조와 언어적 특징을 분석하여 이를 반영한 한국어 듣기 교육의 방안을 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 KBS, MBC, SBS 3사 방송사에서 방영된 ... 본 연구는 다큐멘터리 텍스트의 구조와 언어적 특징을 분석하여 이를 반영한 한국어 듣기 교육의 방안을 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 KBS, MBC, SBS 3사 방송사에서 방영된 다큐멘터리의 텍스트를 수집하여 인문사회 다큐멘터리 텍스트, 생활문화 다큐멘터리 텍스트, 자연과학 다큐멘터리 텍스트의 세 유형으로 분류한 다음 나타나는 구조적 특징 및 언어적 특징을 분석하였다. 이는 다큐멘터리 텍스트가 설명적 텍스트이며 다큐멘터리 텍스트만의 특징이 있음을 밝히고, 적합한 듣기 수업 모형을 제시하기 위함이다. 본 연구에서는 최상위구조(top structure)와 거시구조(macro structure)를 통하여 다큐멘터리 텍스트의 구조를 분석하였다. 최상위구조에서는 마름모형 구조를 기본형으로 하는 단일형 구조와 마름모형 구조 안에 다른 구조 모형이 삽입되어 구성된 복합형 구조로 나뉜다. 거시구조에서는 다큐멘터리 텍스트에 나타나는 텍스트 구조 표지를 분석하여 문장 간의 연결관계를 파악하였다. 다큐멘터리 텍스트의 언어적 특징을 살펴보기 위하여 텍스트를 유형별로 분석한 결과 나타나는 특징으로는 어휘 및 표현, 문체적 특징, 서사 전달 과정과 시점이 있었다. 최근 한국어능력시험(TOPIK)에서 다큐멘터리가 듣기 텍스트 유형으로 제시되었다. 이는 학습자에게 교수해야 할 텍스트 유형으로서 다큐멘터리가 교육적 가치를 갖는다는 것이다. 본 연구가 다큐멘터리 텍스트를 활용한 듣기 교육의 기초 자료가 되고, 실제 한국어 교육 현장이나 다른 언어 기능과의 통합 활동에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the structures and linguistic characteristics of documentary and suggest methods for Korean language listening education that reflect them. To attain the goal, I collected scripts of documentaries broadcasted by three broadcasting companies, KBS, MBC, and SBS, and classified them into three types, i.e. humanities and society documentary, living culture documentary, and natural science documentary, in order to analyze their structural characteristics as well as linguistic characteristics. The intention was to show that documentary is expository texts and has their unique characteristics, and suggest an appropriate listening class model with them. This study analyzed the structures of documentary divided into two types: a top structure and a macro structure. The top structure is divided into a simple structure that has a diamond structure as its basic form and a complex structure in which another structure model is inserted into the diamond structure. In case of the macro structure, the study analyzed text structure markers found in documentary in order to see relations between sentences. In the study the scripts were divided into three types and analyzed. The goal of the analysis was to study linguistic characteristics of the documentary. The analysis showed that vocabulary and expressions, stylistic characteristics, process and viewpoint of narration are characteristic to the documentary. Recently in TOPIK, a documentary was used in the listening part of the test. This means that documentary has educational value as a type of texts to be taught to Korean language learners.
