본 연구의 목적은 한국 드라마에 나타난 상대높임법의 사용양상을 살펴보고 이를 바탕으로 중국인 중급 한국어 학습자의 의사소통능력 향상을 위한 한국어 상대높임법 교육 방안을 모색하는 데에 있다.
상대높임법은 체계는 실제 의사소통 생활에서 화자와 청자의 연령, 지위, 발화 상황 등 많은 요소에 의해 사용 양상이 달라진다. 그러므로 높임법이 비교적 발달되지 않은 중국어 모어 화자에게는 한국어의 상대높임법이 어려움이 되어 이에 대한 교육이 매우 필요하다.
상대높임법은 문법적으로 접근하여 연구하기에는 한계가 있어, 사회언어학적 접근도 중요하다. 사회적 변인에 의해 사용양상이 변화되는 상대 높임 표현은 대화 참여자 간의 사회적 요소에 의거하여 기술되어야 한다. 드라마는 이러한 사회적 변인을 포함하고 있어, 시청각 교수자료로서 효과적인 상대높임법 교육이 이루어질 수 있다.
본 연구를 통하여 한국어의 상대높임법 사용이 실제 언어생활에서 어떻게 일어나고 있는지에 대해 드라마라는 교육 자료를 활용하여 살펴보았고, 보다 실제에 가까운 언어의 제공과 교육 방안의 마련으로 중국인 중급 한국어 학습자들이 일상생활에서의 상대높임법 사용에 도움이 될 수 있다고 본다.

The purpose of this study, which is based on the Korean drama using the Hearer-Honorific is to help the intermediate Korean learners to advance their study with a proper method.
The system of Hearer-Honorfic can be used differently considering the factors of the age, position, and the ignition conditions between the speakers and the listeners. And the the education of Hearer-Honorfic to the Chinese learners who is weak in the understanding of Hearer-Honorfic is very necessary.
The Herarer-Honorfic should not only consider the factors of grammar, but also the linguistics aspects. Increasing the relative expression patterns that are used by social factors change should be described on the basis of social factors conversation between the participants. The Korean dramas that include the social variables and the visiual-auditory materials can be a very effective educational support.
This studies the Herarer-Honrfic according to the Korean dramas considering the causes and conditions which can be a very helpful and effective materials for the Chinese intermediate Herarer-Honrfic learners in the daily life.
