중국 내의 한국어 교육이 매우 활발히 진행되고 있다. 하지만 말하기를 배우고 연습하고 활용할 수 있는 환경을 갖추지 못하고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 말하기 교육은 교재나 멀티미디어와 같은 수단에 의존 할 수밖에 없다. 따라서 말하기 교재는 교육과정에 있어서 매우 중요한 역할을 한다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 중국에서 출판된 한국어 말하기 교재를 일정한 기준으로 분석하여 공통된 문제점을 찾고 그에 대한 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다.
1장에서는 연구 목적 및 필요성과 선행 연구 그리고 연구 방법을 제시하였다. 연구 방법에는 연구 대상 선정 근거와 연구 대상 분석 기준 두 가지를 포함하였다. 선정 기준에 따라『(정편)한국어구어입문』(요덕제), 『한국어회화(상, 하)』(이민), 『한국어구어교정초급(상, 하)』(박문자), 『한국어구어입문: 생활편』(오승은), 『초급한국어정경회화』(최송자), 『한국어구어교정』(김순저), 『한국어구어교정: 초급』(박은숙), 『대가의 한국어 회화: 초급(1, 2)』(박선희) 이상 8종을 분석 대상으로 삼았다. 분석기준은 내용 구성, 주제 다양성, 어휘·문법, 문화, 실제성, 6개 범주로 나누었다.
2장에서는 구체적인 교재 분석을 진행하였다. 설정한 기준에 맞추어 범주별·교재별로 교재를 분석하였다. 분석 과정에 각 부분에서 발견한 문제점을 간략하게 지적하였다. 본고에 교재 내용을 그대로 실음으로써 교재 내용에 관한 전반적인 이해를 도왔다.
3장에서는 2장의 분석을 바탕으로 교재의 공통적인 문제들을 모아 원인을 파악하고 개선방안을 제시하였다. 문제점은 학습 목표의 부재, 교재 제목과 성격 불일치, 연습 문제와 활동 유형의 비다양성, 구어 표현 부족, 새 단어 제시의 불균형성 다섯 가지이다.
중국인 학습자를 위한 말하기 교재들은 몇 가지 특징도 보여주고 있다. 첫째, 각 교재의 내용 제시가 서로 매우 다른 모습을 보여준다. 둘째, 대화문의 분량이 균형적이지 않다. 셋째, 말하기 교재의 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있지 않다. 넷째, 외적 구성 즉, 교재 전체적인 디자인, 용지, 인쇄 칼라, 사진, 삽화, 그림 등 쉽게 흥미를 유발할 수 있는 요소들이 부족하다.
중국 내에서는 한국어로 말할 수 있는 환경이 거의 갖추어져 있지 않다. 이렇기 때문에 효과적인 의사소통능력의 증진을 위해 말하기 교재가 매우 중요한 역할을 한다. 하지만 아직까지 말하기 교재에 관한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있지 않다. 본 연구는 활발한 연구가 진행되지 않은 말하기 분야를 선택하여 교재를 분석하고, 이를 통해 중국에서 출판된 한국어 말하기 교재들이 어떠한 문제점을 갖는지를 찾아낸 것에 의의가 있다. 그러나 구체적인 개선 방안이나 실제로 활용할 만한 활동 유형을 제시하지 못한 부분이 아쉽다. 이 연구가 미약하나마 중국 내 한국어 교재 개발의 기초 연구로 활용되길 바란다.

In this research, I take an analytical criticism on some Korean speaking textbooks according to a certain criteria. This study has a main object on analyzing the characters and problems from each textbook and suggesting some solutions.
On the first chapter, I reveal the purpose of my research, and its necessity. Then I move onto the advanced study, and the research methods. The chosen subject matter is 8 Korean speaking textbooks which were published since 2008 in China. The standards of analysis are based on the 6 categories: the contents composition, diversity of themes, vocabulary/grammar, culture, actuality, speaking activities. I deliver the detailed analytical criticism on the next chapter. In the third chapter I convey the common errors from the 8 textbooks and give some solutions. The errors I discover are as follows: 1st, the absence of study goal. 2nd, the discordance between the textbook titles and its characters. 3rd, the lack of diversity on the practise questions and types of activity. 4th, the shortage of colloquial languages. 5th, the imbalance on the presenting the new words.
In addition, I disclose some other traits on the textbooks. 1st, the presentation of the contents on each book is divergent. 2nd, the length of the conversation is out of balance. 3rd, the development on the Korean speaking textbooks does not seem so lively. 4th, the external formation needs to be improved.
It is hardly possible to find profound researches on the Korean speaking textbooks. In this respect, I believe that this study will be a solid foundation to the next researches. However, I regret that there is a limitation in this research, as I can not set up any detailed action plans and show a proper way to organize the contents of teaching.
