한 나라의 언어를 온전히 습득하기 위해서는 그 언어를 사용되는 사회의 문화적인 상황을 알아야 한다. 한국어 교육에서 문학 교육은 한국어 학습자들에게 언어와 문화를 동시에 가르치는 효과를 주는 것은 물론이고 그 외에 학습자들에게 문학작품을 감상할 수 있는 능력을 키우며 더 많은 문학작품을 접할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다. 하지만 한국어 교육에서 문학 교육에 초점을 두고 개발한 교재가 없다는 사실에 주목하여 이 연구는 한·중에서 지금 활발히 사용하고 있는 한국어 교재에 대한 비교 분석을 해보았다. 현재 한국이나 중국에서 시행되고 있는 문학 교육의 현황을 탐색하고, 교재에 존재하고 있는 문제점을 지적하여 적절한 문학작품을 선정한 다음에 문학 교재의 실제 모형을 제시하는 데 목적을 두고 있다.
이 연구는 우선 2장에서는 한국어 교육에서 문학작품을 이용한 한국어 교육의 필요성을 자세히 제시하며 한국어 교육과 문학 교육의 연관성을 분석하였다.
3장에서는 지금 한국과 중국에서 활발히 사용되고 있는 한국어 교재 분석을 통해 한·중 교재의 문제점을 제시하였다.
한·중 한국어 교재의 비교 분석을 통하여 문학 교육의 실태를 알아보았다. 한국 내 분석 대상 교재는 다섯 개 대학 기관(서울대학교, 연세대학교, 서강대학교, 이화여자대학교, 경희대학교)에서 개발된 초급부터 고급까지 총 33권으로 선정하였다. 중국 내 교재는 지금 중국 현지에서 대부분 대학교에서 주로 사용하고 있는 문학 교재 3 권을 선택하였다. 아울러 수록된 문학작품을 학습자의 단계별, 시대별, 장르별로 통계를 만들어 한국어 문학교육이 어떤 수준의 학습자를 대상으로 이루어지고 있는가, 또 어떤 문학 장르의 작품을 주로 활용하고 있는가 등을 자세히 살펴보고 교재에 나타난 문제점을 밝혀 보았다.
4장에서는 문학 교재 개발의 기본 원칙에 의하여 살펴본 한·중 문학 교재의 문제점을 보완하여 새로운 문학 교재 모형을 제시하였다.
5장은 이 연구의 결론 부분으로서 연구 내용에 대해 간략하게 정리한 후 이 연구의 의의와 미흡한 점을 밝혔다.

In order to master a language and obtain the right understanding of one country, we need to know the cultural situation of the society. Korean literary education provides the language education and the culture education for the Korean language learners, and also provides the opportunity of literature appreciation for them. However, there is not enough textbooks which are focusing on the literary education. In this regard, the purpose of the research is to get the present condition of the literary education, indicating the problems of the textbooks, selecting the appropriate literary works, and suggesting an actual model of the literary text by analyzing of the korean textbooks which are currently used actively in Korea and China.
Firstly, in Chapter Ⅱ, it minutely presented the necessity of the korean language education using the literary texts, analyzed the correlation between the korean language education and the literature education.
In Chapter Ⅲ, it presented the problems of the korean textbooks by analyzing the korean textbooks which are currently used actively in Korea and China.
We got the understanding of the literary education's actual condition through the comparative analysis of the korean textbooks in Korea and China. In Korea, the korean textbooks include Seoul National University, Yonsei University, Sogang University, Ewha Womans University, Kyung Hee University, 5 universities 33 textbooks from the beginner to advanced were totally selected. While in China, 3 textbooks which are normally used in the most of the universities were chose here.
In addition, the literary texts contained in the textbooks were statistically showed by steps, time period, genre. What's more, the research got a close look at the language learners' levels, the genre of the works practical used in the textbooks, and disclosed the problems which appear in the textbooks.
In Chapter Ⅳ, the literary textbooks were examined according to the basic principles. And afterwards a new literary text model was presented as compensating the defect of the current korean textbooks.
At last, Chapter Ⅴ is the conclusion of this research, in which this research is briefly summarized, also the significance and the deficiencies of this research are revealed.
