본 연구는 교재에 한정되어 있는 쓰기 학습을 웹을 기반으로 학습자가 스스로 공부할 수 있도록 프로그램을 개발하여 한국어 쓰기 교육에 도움을 주고자 하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 선행연구를 바탕으로 대학 수학에 필요한 텍스트 유형을 검토하고, 전략적 쓰기 활동을 연습할 수 있는 학습 시스템을 개발하였다. 또한 개발한 프로그램을 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 사용하게 한 뒤 설문 조사를 통해 프로그램에 대한 학습자 반응을 살펴보았다.
1장에서는 학문 목적 한국어 쓰기 교육에 대해 논의된 선행연구와 웹 기반 한국어 교육에 관한 선행 연구를 검토하여 주요 연구들의 의의와 한계점에 대해 고찰해 보고 본 연구의 필요성과 목적에 대해 서술하였다.
2장에서는 학문 목적 쓰기 및 웹 기반 교육의 특징에 대해 기술하고 학문 목적 쓰기 유형을 검토하여 학습자에게 가장 필요한 텍스트인 보고서 쓰기를 중심으로 세부적인 쓰기 활동과 웹을 활용한 쓰기 활동에 대해 살펴보았다.
3장에서는 보고서쓰기에 필요한 다양한 쓰기 활동 선정을 위해 학문 목적 쓰기 교재와 현재 서비스되고 있는 웹 기반 쓰기 교육 사이트를 분석하였다. 이를 통해 프로그램으로 개발할 쓰기 활동의 유형을 생각하기, 문장쓰기, 단락쓰기, 요약하기, 보고서쓰기로 분류하고 이에 따른 세부과제로 다양한 쓰기 활동을 선정하였다.
4장에서는 쓰기 학습 프로그램의 설계 방향과 시스템의 세부적인 설계 내용을 제시하였으며 5장에서는 4장의 설계 원리를 토대로 쓰기 활동 중 하나의 모듈을 실제 프로그램으로 개발하여 학습자에게 사용하게 하였다. 프로그램 사용 후 학습자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였는데 쓰기 학습 효과와 흥미, 향후 선택에 있어서 긍정적인 반응을 보였다. 학습자들은 웹 기반 학습 프로그램이 언제든지 학습할 수 있고 반복적인 학습이 가능하며, 컴퓨터로 한글을 입력하는 것이 타자 연습에 도움을 주고, 쓰기 능력도 향상시킬 수 있을 것이라 기대하였다. 또한 학습자의 요구에 따라 프로그램 개발에 있어 고려할 사항도 확인할 수 있었다.
마지막으로 6장에서는 본 연구의 내용 및 논의를 종합하고, 연구의 의의와 한계점을 밝혀 차후 연구 방향을 모색해 보았다.

The purpose of this study is to be helpful for the Korean writing education by developing a program that a learner oneself can study based on web as for the writing learning that is limited to a teaching material. For this, it examined a text type necessary for studying at university based on a previous research and developed a learning system available for practicing the strategic writing activity. Also, the learners' response to a program was examined through a questionnaire survey, which came to be used targeting Korean language learners, in terms of the developed program.
Chapter 1 was examined a previous research, which was discussed about the Korean writing education for the academic purpose, and a previous research on web-based Korean language education, was considered about the significance and the limitation of major researches, and was described on necessity of objective of this study.
Chapter 2 was figured out the detailed writing activity and the web-based writing activity focusing on writing a , which is the most necessary text for a learner by describing on the characteristics of the academic-purpose writing and the web-based education and by examining an academic-purpose writing type.
Chapter 3 was analyzed the academic-purpose writing teaching material and the web-based writing education site, which is being served now, in order to select diverse writing activities necessary for writing a . Through this, a type of the writing activity, which will be developed as a program, was classified into 5 pieces such as thinking, writing sentence, writing paragraph, summarizing, and writing a . Diverse writing activities were chosen as the detailed task according to this.
Chapter 4 was suggested the direction of designing the writing learning program and the detailed design contents of the system. Chapter 5 came to be used in a learner by developing one module among the writing activities, as a real program, based on the design principle in Chapter 4. A questionnaire research was conducted targeting learners after using the program. A positive response was shown to the writing learning effect, interest, and future choice. The web-based learning program was expected to be available for learning anytime and for the repetitive learning, to be given a help to practicing typewriting by inputting Hangeul with a computer, and to be likely able to improve even the writing ability. Also, even a considerate matter could be confirmed in developing a program according to a learner's demand.
Finally, Chapter 6 was pursued future research direction by synthesizing the contents and discussion about this study and by clarifying the significance and the limitation of the research.
