The birth myth of nation connotes the most basic form of spiritual culture. In the education of culture we can make a suitable comparison and contrast of a people's culture with others' through the birth myth of nation. In addition, the constituents of a nation are familiar with the birth myth of it. In the education of culture for foreigners, if we tell their familiar stories, they can make an acceptance without feeling different or strange. When we tell them sories which are common and univeral in the motif, structure, character, and etc of their birth myth of nation and ours, they will have great education effects.
The goal of teaching of a foreign language is to improve their communication ability in the diverse situations by speaking the same language. Communication originates in the needs of individuals' life which are different in the inter group, cross culture, and the times. Therefore, the purpose and way of communication may be different from each other.
In this study for Peruvians who are interested in Korea and intend to learn Korean and Korean culture we can help them to understand and accept the features of two countries' culture very well by making them a comparison and contrast of the birth myth of Inca with that of Korea which connotate thr deep consciousness system in them. We tried to find the way of educating Korean culture for foreigners in the way of cross cultural approach in the viewpoint of cultural relativity and cross culture.
In Chapter I we made a previous examination of studies which use the birth myth of Korea and folklore and which are of the direction and way of Korean culture education.
In Chapter II we looked for the society-cultural features of Peru a learner belongs to and investigated the existing state of Korean education in Peru.
In chapter III looking for the educational meaning of the myth and the value of it as the subject matter of culture education, we made a comparative study of the structure, culture element, and value of the birth myth of Peru and Korea in cross culture approach.
In chapter IV we exemplified teaching plans of suggesting education researches : a learner-centered education in the consideration of his cultural characteristics and the content of education arranged according to category based on chapter III.
In chapter V, this study made the following conclusion.
The idea which the birth myth of both nations connoted has had an influence on the present spiritual culture as well as a real life style.
The birth myth of nation can be a great subject matter of culture education which makes us improve the communication ability and the understanding ability of culture. Through the culture education becoming a learner' cultural characteristics, the learner can improve the communication ability by understanding culture and applying culture, thought, value and etc to the communication.
