Korean language in education emphasized the importance of learning and how to meet a variety of purposes and research materials. However, what can fully reflect the needs of materials and research for the special purpose still lacks. Therefore, for the propose of improving the ability of using more accurate representation of the actual situation, self-study materials for Chinese student are developed.
Chapter 1 introduces the purpose and method of the study, also previous studies and research of Korean education as a foreign language which related to this study will be discussed.
In Chapter 2, in order to develop self-study materials for grammar, exploring the related theory is preferable. First, what kind of features does the Chinese learners have will be looked for, then, the characteristics of the materials for self-study will be looked for. Finally, the analysis of existing materials in the area of the grammar will be summarized. By this way, the required materials which related to this study is to review.
On the basis of information discussed above, Chapter 3 plans to develop teaching materials for self-study. First, the direction of material development will be discussed. then, the structure of teaching material divided into two parts which contains whole composition and unit structure will be discussed. Meanwhile, the grammar items presented in textbooks without direct selection are based on the <International accepted two-phase development of Korean education standard model> of intermediate grammar. Discussed above, the application of the last section is to present the actual grammar categories.
In Chapter 4, the above information is gathered. and the value and limitations of the study will be discussed. By this way, this is to draw conclusions.

언어 교육에 있어서 한국어 학습에 대한 중요성을 강조되면서, 다양한 목적을 부합하는 교재 및 연구를 등장하고 있다. 그러나 중국인의 요구를 충분히 반영한 특수 목적인 교재 및 연구들은 아직 부족한 상황이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 실제 의사소통 상황에서 더 정확한 표현을 사용하여 효과적으로 한국어 능력을 향상시킬 수 있도록 중국인 학습자를 대상으로 하는 자습용 문법 교재를 개발하는 것에 대하여 제시하고자 한다.
우선 1장에서는 연구의 목적과 방법을 소개하고, 지금까지 이루어진 외국어로서의 한국어 교육의 선행연구 중에 본 논문과 관련된 연구를 살펴보고자 한다.
2장에서는 자습용 문법 교재를 개발하는 데에 있어서 이론적인 내용에 대하여 검토하고자 한다. 먼저 중국인 학습자가 구체적으로 어떤 특징들이 있는지에 대하여 살펴보고, 그 다음으로 자습용 교재의 특성에 대하여 알아보도록 한다. 마지막으로 기존 교재의 문법 영역에 대하여 분석하고 정리하겠다. 이를 통하여 교재 개발 시 필요한 이론적 근거를 검토하고자 한다.
3장에서는 앞서 논의한 내용을 토대로 본 논문에서 개발하고자 하는 자습용 교재를 설명하였다. 먼저 교재 개발의 방향이 어떻게 이루어지는지에 대하여 논의하고, 다음으로 교재 구성을 전체 구성과 단원 구성의 두 가지 부분으로 나누어서 살펴보았다. 한편 교재에서 제시하는 문법 항목들을 직접 선정하지 않고 기존에 있는 <국제 통용 한국어 교육 표준 모형 개발 2단계>에서 선정된 중급 문법 항목으로 교재를 개발하고자 한다. 마지막으로 위에 논의들을 적용하는 단원의 실제를 문법 범주별로 제시하도록 한다.
4장에서는 앞서 논의하는 내용들을 정리하고 연구의 가치와 한계점 등을 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 통하여 논문의 결론을 도출하고자 한다.
