이 연구는 한국어 어휘 중에 가장 큰 비중을 차지하는 한자어, 그 중에 가장 대표적인 ‘二음절 한자어/하다’ 동사의 구조와 의미투명도의 상관관계에 관한 연구다.
지금까지 한자어에 관한 연구는 한중 한자어 의미 비교에 관한 연구가 대부분이고 ‘二음절 한자어/하다’ 동사의 의미를 중심으로 한 연구는 아직 많지 않다. 한자어의 투명도에 관한 연구는 몇 편 있긴 한데 그 중에 대부분이 간단히 투명어와 불투명어 두 가지로 나누고 예를 들어서 설명한 것에 그쳤다. 본고는 모든 유형을 다 포함시킬 수 있는 분류 방법을 만들어내도록 하고 한자어 구조와 한자어 의미 투명도의 상관관계를 찾아내고자 한다. 그리고 설문조사를 통해서 그 방법을 검증했다.
이 연구는 지금까지 연구되지 않은 한자어 구조와 한자어 투명도의 상관관계를 찾아내는 데에 의의가 있다. 연구의 제한으로 일단 상용되는 ‘二음절 한자어/하다’ 동사 300개를 연구 대상으로 삼았는데 본 연구의 결과가 모든 ‘二음절 한자어/하다’ 동사에 적용될 수 있는지 더 검증될 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to research the correlation of 'disyllabic chinese character/하다' verb's structure and semantic transparency, which has great research value.
As so far, the study of chinese character has been achieved a lot, but the study of 'disyllabic chinese character/하다' verb is not that much. There is some research of semantic transparency of chinese character, but they just focused on transparent word and ambiguous word, which is not complete. In this study, we tried to find out a way to include all types and to figure out the correlation of 'disyllabic chinese character/하다' verb's structure and semantic transparency. And we verified the method by question investigation.
Because of the limitation of study, the research subject is limited to the most widely used 300 'disyllabic chinese character/하다' verbs. So this research result needs to be proven whether it applies to all 'disyllabic chinese character/하다' verbs.
