본 연구의 목적은 딕토글로스(Dictogloss) 활동이 한국어 학습자의 말하기 능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 데 있다. 딕토글로스는 언어의 네 가지 기능인 듣기, 말하기, 읽기, 쓰기를 모두 사용할 수 있는 동시에 목표 언어의 의미와 형태에 모두 집중할 수 있게 하여 언어 능력 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 끼치는 활동이다. 또한 이러한 딕토글로스의 긍정적인 영향들을 더욱 효과적으로 이끌어 내는 역할을 하는 ‘협력 학습’이 말하기 능력에 미치는 영향에 대해서도 알아보는 것이다.
실험 결과 딕토글로스는 실험 집단에서 통계적으로 유의미한 결과가 나타 말하기 능력에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 특히 문법의 정확성에서 그 효과를 입증하였다. 그리고 딕토글로스의 ‘협력 학습’ 활동은 딕토글로스의 장점을 극대화하여 말하기 능력 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳐 ‘발음의 정확성’과 ‘어휘의 정확성’에서 유의미한 결과를 보였다. 또한 딕토글로스 활동은 상위 집단보다 하위 집단의 학습자들에게 더욱 효과적으로 나타나 보여 하위 집단의 학습자들의 말하기 능력이 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되었다.

This study aims to verify the influence of Dictogloss on Korean speaking proficiency for beginners, to assist/understand the targeted language’s Dictogloss collaborative learning, to connect them with speaking in order to maximize the strong points of Dictogloss and the possibility of using them practically.
Below are the results of the experiment conducted.
Firstly, Dictogloss has shown positive influences on Korean speaking proficiency, especially in grammar accuracy influences.
Secondly, Dictogloss collaborative learning helps to supplement Dictogloss’ strong points. It has also shown to have positive influences on speaking proficiency progress and has shown meaningful results especially in “Pronunciation accuracy”, "Lexical accuracy" where this has helped to maximize Dictogloss' strong points.
Thirdly, it is demonstrated that the influences more on the lower grade group members. By learning with a higher group member, it will help the lower group member to understand the text better which is a strong point to take note in Korean Language education. If a lower grade member can help to benefit through his small group learning activities in a short period of time, this will bring considerable learning influences that will become a effective method whereby teachers can help ideally use.
