The research carried out the need analysis for female marriage immigrants to develop Korean textbook for child-rearing focused on infants aged 0~ 24 months
Chapter 1 shows the purpose and necessity of developing Korean textbook for child-rearing with the subject of pregnancy, childbirth and parenting at the early period of life in Korea. Also, this chapter reviewed the early internal studies about developing textbooks focused on female marriage immigrants.
Chapter 2 reveiwed current situation of Korean language education for female marriage immigrants' child-rearing. First, this chapter analyzed the subjects of child-rearing in Korean Education course and Parent Education course operated by Multi-Cultural Family Suppot Center, part of Ministry of Gender Equality. Second, this chapter analyzed 「Korean for female marriage immigrants 1-6」published by The National Institute of the Korean Language systematically constructed in a high-level courses targeted on female marriage immigrants learning Korean. As a result, considering female marriage immigrants' ability of performing Korean , Korean textbook for them is necessary because Korean Education course and Parent Education course were operated separably, and「Korean for female marriage immigrants 1-6」shows insufficiency in education focused on infants.
Chapter 3 carried out the need analysis for female marriage immigrants to select educational content in child-rearing for infants. The need analysis is composed of preliminary investigation and question investigation. Preliminary investigation proceeded in the order of individual interviewing of female marriage immigrants, interviewing Korean tutors, and Korean Home Teaching. From the data of individual interviewing of female marriage immigrants, subjects wanted most about creating children's Korean tutoring class for the safety and well-being of their children. Also they preferred to have an Education for their children's well-being and health care by age. From the data of Korean Home Teaching, Korean tutoring for infants fit for their ages, and Korean utterance education for positive expression suit for the circumstances, understanding of Korean's traditional style of parenting and well-known child play and teaching for culture vocabulary are required.
In proceeding question investigation, questionnaires are completed based on preliminary investigation's results, carried out a survey targeting female marriage immigrants having their residence in Seoul·Gyeonggi area. Among the collected 58 questionnaires, carried out the need analysis based on 55 sincerely answered questionnaires. results indicate the necessity of Korean textbooks for child-rearing focused on infants is 72% high. also necessity of Korean textbooks for pregnancy · delivery · child-rearing divided into 6 parts based on growth and development of children by age and segmented each part. Need analysis about 「pregnancy · delivery」5 articles, 「1-12 months : caring infant for everyday」10 articles' necessity shows avarage 70% high, 「1-12months : infant's health care」 4articles's necessity shows avarge 85% high, same as the results of preliminary investigation. Also「13-24months : teaching infants a profer cleaning/eating habit」 6 articles,「13-24months : teaching infants a profer sleeping/bowel movement 」3 articles,「13-24months : teaching infants a profer」4 articles' necessity shows avarage 85% high. These results are reflected in the need of Korean textbooks as an infant care guidebooks for female marriage immigrants to raise their children properly.
Based on chapter 3's result of need analysis, chapter 4 prepare a design for Develop the Presentation, basic of Korean textbooks development for infantcy child-rearing. Also base on Develop the Presentation, structed units for Korean education for effectivel child-rearing, sugested an actual model construction.
This study has its meaning for the first attempt of developing Korean textbooks about pregnancy · delivery · child-rearing · form a good habit for infants (0-24months) for female marriage immigrants. But has its limitation about setting the perimeter in developing Korean textbooks of basic feature in child-rearing.
Consequently, female marriage immigrants' child-rearing in Korean education with more subdivided subjects is expected , which follow-up studies on this will be made in the future.

본 연구는 여성결혼이주민의 요구분석을 토대로 영아기(0~24개월) 자녀 양육을 위한 한국어 교재를 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
1장에서는 여성결혼이주민의 한국어 의사소통 능력 향상을 위해서 한국생활 초기에 경험하는 임신·출산·육아를 주제로 영아기 자녀 양육을 위한 한국어 교재 개발의 목적 및 필요성을 밝혔다. 또한 여성결혼이주민대상으로 진행된 교재개발에 대한 국내의 선행연구를 검토하였다.
2장에서는 여성결혼이주민의 영아기 자녀 양육을 위한 한국어 교육 현황을 살펴보았다. 첫째, 여성가족부 산하의 다문화가족지원센터에서 운영하는 한국어 교육과정과 부모 교육 과정 중 영아기 자녀 양육에 대한 내용을 검토해 보았다. 둘째, 여성결혼이주민 대상 한국어 교재 중에서 고급과정까지 체계적으로 구성되어있는 국립국어원에서 발행한「여성결혼이민자와 함께하는 한국어」1~6권을 분석하였다. 그 결과 한국어 교육과 부모교육은 두 과정이 별도로 운영되고 있어 여성결혼이주민의 한국어 능력을 고려한 부모 교육이 필요하며, 분석한 교재에서는 영아기 자녀 양육을 위한 한국어 교육의 내용이 전반적으로 부족하게 제시되어 있었다.
3장에서는 영아기 자녀 양육에 대한 교육 내용의 선정을 위해 여성결혼이주민의 요구분석을 하였다. 여성결혼이주민의 요구조사는 1차 예비조사와 2차 설문조사로 이루어 졌으며, 1차 예비조사는 여성결혼이주민 개별 면접, 한국어 교사 면접, 한국어 방문교육으로 진행하였다. 개별 면접 결과 여성결혼이주민은 자녀의 안전과 건강을 위해서 육아 한국어 교육의 개설을 희망하였으며, 교육 내용에서도 자녀의 성장발달에 따른 건강관리에 관한 주제를 가장 선호하였다. 또한 한국어 방문교육 결과 영아기 자녀 양육을 위한 한국어 교육은 첫째, 여성결혼이주민의 자녀 연령에 맞는 육아 한국어 교육이 필요하고 둘째, 자녀와 대화 상황에 맞는 긍정적인 표현의 한국어 교육과 발음 교육이 필요하다. 셋째, 한국의 전통 육아 방식이면서 현재에도 일반적으로 널리 사용되는 아이 놀이 및 문화 어휘에 대한 교육과 자녀의 사회성 발달을 고려한 한국의 육아 방식에 대한 이해가 필요하다.
2차 설문 조사에서는 1차 예비 조사 결과를 토대로 설문지를 작성하여 서울·경기 지역에 거주하는 여성결혼이주민을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 회수한 설문지 58개 중 성실하게 응답해 준 55명의 설문 내용을 바탕으로 요구분석을 하였다. 요구분석 결과 영아기 자녀 양육을 위한 한국어 교재의 필요도가 72%로 높게 나타났다. 또한 임신·출산·자녀 양육을 위한 한국어 교재 내용에 대한 필요도는 자녀의 성장발달에 따른 임신·출산, 자녀 양육에 대한 내용을 총 6개 영역으로 나누어 각각의 항목을 세분화 하였다. 필요도 분석 결과「임신·출산」에 대한 5개 항목과「1~12개월: 아기 매일 돌보기」10개 항목에 대한 필요도는 평균 70%이상으로 나타났으며,「1~12개월: 아기의 건강관리」4개 항목에 대한 필요도는 평균 85%이상으로 높게 나타나서 예비조사의 결과와 같음을 알 수 있었다. 또한「13~24개월: 깨끗한 습관/ 식습관 가르치기」6개 항목,「13~24개월: 잠자기 습관/ 배변 습관 가르치기」3개 항목,「13~24개월: 안전 습관/ 예절 습관 가르치기」4개 항목에 대한 필요도는 평균 85%이상으로 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 여성결혼이주민의 올바르게 자녀를 양육 할 수 있는 육아지침서로써의 한국어 교재에 대한 요구가 반영된 것이다.
4장에서는 3장의 요구분석 결과를 교육 내용으로 선정하여 영아기 자녀 양육을 위한 한국어 교재 개발에 기초가 되는 교수요목을 설계하였다. 또한 교수요목을 바탕으로 실질적인 자녀 양육을 위한 한국어 교재의 단원 구성을 하였으며, 실제 단원 구성 모형을 제시하였다.
본 연구는 여성결혼이주민 대상으로 임신·출산 및 자녀의 성장 발달에 따른 육아와 자녀의 생애 초기 올바른 습관 형성을 위한 주제로 영아기(0~24개월)자녀 양육을 한국어 교재 개발을 위한 시도를 하였다는 데에 의의가 있다. 그러나 영아기의 대략적인 특징만을 한국어 교육의 내용으로 선정한 것에 한계점이 있다. 앞으로 여성결혼이주민의 자녀 양육에 대한 보다 세분화된 주제로 한국어 교육의 연구가 이루어지기를 기대하며 후속 연구의 기초가 되기를 바란다.
